Yes, exactly. Our aim is to bring it back to live. Also as modern sport/martial art. Of course it's only a one aspect.
Why did you private the kenjustu vs longsword video? It was by far the best example of the advantages a longsword has over a katana.

Hello, I plan to visit us in September. IGX fencing event in Boston. BTW, not Czech but Slovak. Close:)
Applying grappling does seem logical and interesting, but you may want to think on this a little and or how you will apply it to the sport.
Also moving around a target is interesting too, but this could get messy in a training hall so again you may want to start off keeping to traditional movements of forwards and backward then give this option of greater movement later on.
