  • Desire Fresnel is a classic reimagined. ETC has taken the best features of classic incandescent Fresnels and added the technology of LEDs. With the Lustr X8 array you are guaranteed better colors from high-quality light with impressive brightness.
Near Field Communication (NFC) configuration and set up is available through the ETC Set Light app. The built-in Multiverse Wireless protocol enables DMX systems to be scaled up without excessive levels of radio energy. The 13-55 degree zoom controlled from the front and rear of the fixture, and impressive brightness through the entire zoom range are just a few of the features that will make this your new favorite workhorse fixture.

Do a Demo with a Tungsten Halogen Fresnel side by side with Desire Fresnel to check the Dimming Quality of the Light Output. Tungsten Halogen gives very warm output when dimmed down.

They seem amazing, but at US$3,000 each my venue will never consider to get them (despite the big savings in energy, bulbs, and gels in the long run). Do you guys have any plans on releasing a more affordable (preferably non wireless and non NFC capable) unit for semi permanent installs, like the electrics of a proscenium theatre?!

What’s the difference from the desire fresnel and fos/4 fresnel?

Desire Fresnel is about 80% as bright, does not have DC battery input and is only available in the Lustr X8 array... but it is about $1000 less!!!

Nobody uses City Theatrical Wirelss DMX 🙄 LUMEN RADIO PLEASE! What a bummer!

Multiverse is a much more robust system, but I agree that lack of Lumenradio makes it less advantageous for certain productions. You can always just use an external receiver...

@@deltacbravo Lumenradio is the defacto gold standard in Europe. I never had a single problem with it.

@@julianreverse I know, and all I use is Lumenradio too, but with productions requiring more and more wireless universes, a single system that provides 9 universes out of one transmitter is a lot simpler, and there's no receiver pairing involved either.
