We've got all sorts of custom races today, including a playable Hybrid race!
This is going to be a custom StarCraft 2 Cast of two games: Terrarn (Zerg and Dragons) vs kingofblades (UPL and Hybrds)
If you're new to this channel, I cast a wide range of StarCraft 2 content including casual games and modded games including viewer submitted content! If more casual and modded StarCraft are something you guys are interested in, please consider subscribing!
Since the majority of casts are of pro level games, I think it would be really interesting focus on StarCraft 2 ladder games from the more general population of StarCraft 2 players. Of course I will occasional host a pro-level match once in awhile, but for now I'm focused on casting StarCraft 2 from players in the community!

I think UPL (I think they are getting a name change to APL) vs. Zerg is an unfair match-up, considering the UPL were balanced for fighting an op version of Zerg where the Roaches, Hydras etc all had extra hp
i think they also came at a weird glass connon downside. upl infantry is squishy AF and just explodes under any decent pressure. idk if it's been changed but i remember that UPL kinda has the same play style as zerg till you can get your mechanical units rolling then its more like standard terran

As far as I know I think I've covered just about all of them although I think there might be at least one other that's a work in progress!

I can't find the Hybrid mod, can you tell me the name?
I don't understand I played the same Mod today and the races were completely different it's Scion Custom Races, right?
This is a different mod, this one is the Hybrid mod which only adds the hybrid race. But there's also the 'All Races' mod which puts multiple race mods together into one

How to find these custom game in sc2 ? Always wants to play it
You can access them via StarCraft 2! Launch the game, and you can either find custom campaigns in the arcade tab, or you can create a custom melee game: select the custom tab at the top, select melee and then 'create with mod' type in Scion or all races and some options should come up. You may need to hop on the US server for some of them to show

The player shoud let them more time before kill the enemy player! so we can see mutch more new units and other thinks!
Can someone say to me if there are campaigns for these custom races he cast in his videos?
there is the Scion campaign but that's taking him awhile to beat.
The UPL seen in the first match was actually made for a custom campaign called UED: First Light, hence they were never intended to be balanced for multiplayer. Additionally, there is an unofficial campaign for the Genetron that Elleix has started on this channel, but its more a collection of challenging missions that use Genetron as the player race.
@@lionbreaker0852 UED played it. That with Genetron no. But there are some good races for campaigns, those Dragons or Keiron.. It seems like the creation of campaigns has stalled for years, nothing new appeared. @lionbreaker0852

Are you trying on US or EU server? I know some mods are only available for particular servers

Why don't you just use the default replay UI, so you can look at the unit and building stats.

You can play it directly from SC2! When you launch the game, click custom on the top, then select Melee. At the bottom there's the option to 'Create with Mod', select that and type "Hybrid" in the search bar and it should be the top one
I think the custom races are just getting out of hand at this point lol; they went from unique to memes almost
To be fair, they were all created by different people and slammed into 1 mod which combined them all together, and generally, a lot of them were made for Alex007's fourth race tournament. Although most of them don't really get updated, and the UPL seen in the first game wasn't even made for multiplayer (made for a custom campaign called UED: First Light). The most balanced ones that actually get updates are the Scion races, Genetron, Keiron and Xayid which all exist in a separate mod.
thanks for the info; that actually helps me understand because the Scion races were the ones I thought to be unique, and was just conused why there were so many now. I do however love the dragon race; though I wish they would just call them Primals@@lionbreaker0852

Wow. Very interesting mod, I like what I've seen so far. Kind of interesting how the players can create a better game than Blizzard. Or, rather, that's expected these days. Now we just need to get some decent SC2 players to try it out, rather than these bronze league heroes. lol. Don't get me wrong, I welcome any and all players to the Starcraft universe, and by no means do I appreciate or encourage personal or negative criticism. However, to get a good feel for the mod, we need some decent players to duke it out. Bronze League Heroes was a great show, but now we need MOAR.
UPL unbalanced they are too strong.
