Jiri got dizzy, swung at Reyes washed and Glover 43 old
He wasn't knocked out when he was swinging because Reyes used jiu-jitsu, as a wrestler, and that gave Jiri time and peace of mind to return.
If Reyes had continued to hit when he flashed down, Jiri would probably have been knocked out by a Reyes who only has a top 15 level.
Against Glover it was even worse, he had a strong flash down, but Glover like Reyes used wrestler, jiu-jitsu and this hug and non-continuation of the head damage made Jiri wake up again
It was in the fifth round, if Glover had continued to hit Jiri would probably have been knocked out
I saw this before the fight against Poatan vs Jiri and when I saw this I thought POATAN WHEN SEEING JIRI GET DIZZY HE WON'T CATCH HIM, HE WON'T USE WRESTLING AND WITH THAT JIRI WOULD GO THREE FIGHTS IN A ROW WOULD RECOVER FROM AN IMMINENT KNOCKOUT
Poatan would certainly continue to hit and that's what he did

This reveals one thing, Jiri's defense is weak, he can be knocked out if the opponent continues to hit. There was luck against Reyes and Glover that they made a bad decision because if it continued to beat Jiri would be erased
I have no doubt that Rakic will win because of this, if Rakic doesn't make the mistake of hugging Jiri when he has a flash down, he has a chance of winning

Alex doesn’t fight to win by points, he fights to KO or TKo his opponent. That’s his approach to fighting in the UFC. He sacrifices points to focus on a sudden KO. Everyone is different.

He said that ref could let it go for few more seconds to surely know if he should stop it.
Jiri won the first round becose he landed more strikes, you get no points for takedown without damage...
but if you really saw that fight that you know it was early stoppage , and that silence from commentators said it all.
Jiri was on his feet 1 second after the stoppage.

Jiri is a humble athlete, but he seems emotionally hurt from the loss to Alex
He seemed devastated in the cage after the stoppage. The face he made when they announced Alex as the winner said it all. He should not be so hard on himself. Alex lets all his opponents get a sense they are doing well and when they get too confident and start trading in the pocket with Alex...they get the left hook from hell.

Jiri damn near hit the floor right w the 1st leg kick, then started rushing because of the damage which led to the KO. Poaton has no water strikes and only throws when he can land and is a KO artist. As long as he gets the KO, that’s ask he cares. It was close but it’s not like Jiri dominated, he got dropped twice and KO’d in 2 rounds. That’s not even enough time to be too much better. Fight was over fast 🤔
