If my memory serves me right, I remember I was still in school when James Lynch was already in the mma space way back in the middle or late 2000's, he might not a very popular journalist back then, but you can pretty much saw him on tv popping up from time to time interviewing fighters around. And social media wasn't as necessity during those days as compare these days. I heard that he's just new about focusing more on building his brand on youtube as mma content creator even though he's being around for a very long time now. seeing the trend recently about the explosion of being an independent non mainstream mma content creator slowly having an influence around mma space, so maybe he's thinking grass is now greener on the other side.

He does, no doubt about it, just the same as they know they announce fights before contracts are signed as well. It's all business tactics. This is a quality main event but they were certainly scrambling for a headliner.
They did this with Jalin turner fight. Him and renato agreed to fight the day before they announced it

Hill fights long and aggressive- really utilizing his reach .
Poatan, despite me really liking him, doesn’t do this. His strikes are very bunched, jammed & a lot of short & medium range hooks.
He’s a phone booth fighter. Despite his power i think Hill stays at distance & KOs him
If he stays the distance the leg kicks are going to hurt him
Another thing to factor is this. Alex doesnt leg kick very well against southpaws…and jamahal is a southpaw. Im very interested to see how Alex will deal with him

Pereira has been caught by a simple 1-2 down the pipe by nearly every fighter he has faced in the UFC. One of which KO'd him cold.
Hill has better boxing skills and is much faster than Pereira.
