Steve Nash's Only Career "Dunk" Attempt - April 5, 2007

- According to official NBA game logs, on April 5, 2007, Steve Nash attempted the only dunk of his career. The "dunk" was not successful due to a block by Tim Duncan. I have found the clip and it turns out the "dunk" was actually an underhand layup attempt. Disappointing, I know. Who ever the official scorekeeper for this game got it all wrong.

Commentator: He saw it was Duncan.
Tabulator: I saw he was dunkin'.
maybe this was the reason he messed up lmao.
@@WWE2KUNIVERSEELITE maybe this was the reason they considered it as a dunk attempt :P
dunking on Duncan sounds nice, though)0
Wow! Look at the elevation. Steve was a high flyer.
Duncan's right arm pushed Nash's left shoulder down,
was it because he knew windmill city poster jam was on the way
😉
Boom shaka laka ? 🎶
Your comment made my day 😂😂

Maybe the scorekeeper did it on purpose thinking it'd be funny.
Dunk attempt? 😂😂😂
Look a bit as a shawn Kemp dunk against the warriors... Think hard😂
Read the description.
Duncan didn't want that smoke
Tim Duncan and the announcer is the only reason anyone ever thought this was a dunk attempt 😂 was clearly driving for a layup
in an alternate universe he actually dunked on tim duncan
I have been looking for a video of this dunk attempt for a long time only to find out it was more of an underhanded layup 🗿
🗿
Hey, Sam. Since you have this nba game, I was wondering if you had another phoenix suns game when they faced off against the Vancouver Grizzlies? This game was aired on tv during the lockdown and I really regret not taking the opportunity to watch it. Thanks!
Where did you get this if you don’t mind me asking? I heard it’s supposed to be rare footage
I work for Bally Sports Arizona. We had it in our tape archives.
@@sambelevenDo you have access to other Bally Sports games, or just Bally Sports Arizona?
@@mynameisjeff512 I only have access to Arizona archives.
@@sambelevendamn that's cool

That man was not going to dunk 🤣🤣
30 seconds of my life i will never get back :/
Imagine if Steve Nash had posterized Tim Duncan. That might have kept Duncan out of the Hall of Fame.
Tried Dunkin on Duncan
No way , this was lay up 100%
Well Mr.Nash said he was going to dunk it doe🤔
Steve Nash 🆚 Duncan is Insane
They right tho, it was Dunkin'

That's Tim Duncan not a dunk attempt, this announcer is comedy lol
That was clearly a lay up 😂
That’s not a dunk attempt
Wasn't a dunk attempt
Seriously?
Needed to cock it back with the tomahawk and that would have been a poster
Aye yoo tim Duncan was dirty with that lil shoulder hold down I been watching and I see he been doing that his whole career
0:12 that does not look like an attempt for dunking
