Yeah, its heartbreaking that they just ruined his character... he's generally my favorite.

They made him more realistic by reminding everyone that it's possible to grow and still be a jerk in the end.

This really shows how well Dwight dealt with Jim pranks, he never freaked out like Andy even if he was annoyed. Over time Dwight learned to prank almost as well as Jim. It’s no surprise he called him a good friend at the end.
That flowers prank was hilarious.
I cannot believe that they forgot to put in Andy's freak out when Nelly became manager. (Season 8).

@@ratman507 actually a couple times Dwight has pranked Jim. Jim’s prank are more comical and simple, thus more common. Dwight on occasion has pranked and put smarted Jim. They are more Complex and thought out, but not as often.

Andy's freakouts in season 3 made sense and was very entertaining. But when he developed into the andy we know and love... seeing Andy like that in season 9 was so backwards and it sucked
Its because he got to a place where he felt like he'd achieved something yet his father was not proud of him at all. Thats all he wanted some recognition. He got that at Dundee mifflin but became tempted by the boat as that had been his dream his whole life and he didn't want it stolen from him. This gave him the freedom to think he could do what he want and still chase his other dreams that his father would've disapproved of

I just finished watching the Office for the first time and knowing Andy's decline as I watched it was so sad. I loved his growth in S8 and while I liked how his family, past, and future were elements he was supposed to deal with the execution of it was terrible. They didn't have to do this to him...
