Before they can interrogate him, they come under attack themselves by an unseen but powerful foe. Forced to flee across the desert, they must form an uneasy alliance with their captive and face a terrifying threat that could change the course of the war...and the fate of the world.

Well done. I was amused by the jeep's tyres. The film is worthy of The Outer Limits and Twilight Zone.
When you say sci-fi everyone thinks of spaceships, ray guns and aliens.
This is one of the best I've seen, more please.
The only bad thing about this film is how few people have seen it.
Tremendous work!
Right! Please share!
@Mr. INDIA Did you not watch the video?
@Mr. INDIA Oh, I see.
The answer is: No one. It was remote controlled by the man with the joystick you see sitting in front of the small screen.
He was doing the killing while the commanders watched and they are the true villains for the orders they gave him.
@Mr. INDIA My pleasure. 🙂
It is an extremely good film . Not seen so much now a days !!! I’m great-full too have seen it .
Authentic period costumes, actual desert locations, explosive use of pyrotechnics and a great storyline that you could actually believe and is plausible considering all the ways the German military machine investigated and explored all kinds of new and alternative weapons manufacture.
A great little film, expertly filmed, and made more enjoyable with the use of a minimal cast that brought the whole idea to life and made it entirely believable.
A very worthwhile watch that could be expanded into a mini series, with the potential to become a huge hit. It could even go on to be a fully fledged series considering the location, initial idea and openness of the story to be expanded into something sinister, menacing and downright evil, with plenty of scope for other, more murderous machines to be made operational.
It could even include an occult element, especially seeing as how an entire German military department was tasked with bringing such items back to Germany and trying to use them to access the darker powers and use malevolent spirits bend to their whim.
10/10 for originality, presentation, unique idea and overall enjoyment factor.
Another friend to production team I see... Totally unrealistic critique, in fact, no critique at all.
Occult aspect, or alien technology put to (mis)use.
I liked the befriending of the would-be decoy or spy German soldier. He's probably doomed at the end.

For your information, I have never met anyone who has anything at all to do with this film. Neither the actors, production staff, the costume makers, the recording guys, even whoever brought them tea and coffee - don't know them or have met a single solitary one of them !
I just enjoyed the film and could see the potential it has to take off and become something amazing.
Not everyone in this world is as cynical, arrogant, or as condescending as you are. Some people actually enjoy CZcams and like to encourage those who take the time, trouble, effort and money it costs to make these films and entertain those who watch videos here.
I am just appreciative of all the hard work that was put into it and see nothing wrong in saying so. Thanking all those involved for entertaining them I think is the very least that anyone can do.
So please do us all a favour and take your know-it-all comment that is totally wrong and go and chew bricks in a dark corner somewhere, while leaving those of us alone who have the intelligence to write something helpful and encouraging to the people who have got off their arses to do something helpful, entertaining and enjoyable for other people.
I've watched thousands of shorts. This was THE BEST ONE I've ever seen. I am a 70 year old lover of history. I feel like I just paid $20 and I more than got my money's worth. BRAVO BAD BUENO FILMS!! You are "tha'bomb"...!
Take care your health 👍👍👍 insyaallah amen
Something tells me there are actually things like this out there. Back in 1991 while working as armed security for a nuclear plant I ran into something. I was working at 2:14 am on outer perimeter patrol. I was on my way back to the North Access when something crashed into tree tops on my left. Rather then stop and investigate I went inside and reported to my Captain. He immediately made a phone call and told me to get a cup of coffee and to not return to that area for 15 minutes. I had a lot of questions about what I had seen. But he TOLD me I hadn't seen anything, unless I didn't like my job.
Can you PLEASE share what you saw? I'm fascinated. Anything like a Sasquatch, Dogman, Translucent Predator-like figure, UFO, or alien? Sasquatch are very active and interested in Nuclear Power Plants, as are UFO's.
Hui Crazy 😮
Let me guess. It was a flying saucer full of blondes and they all took turns with you. ROFL
@@JoshuaC0rbit Nope... Never did find out. However 10 years later, after my wife died I became friends with one of the master electricians that worked at the same nuclear plant. He had never seen or heard from anyone else of something like that happening. One person suggested it may have been a piece of sheet metal that came off one of the cooling towers. Invisible in the dark, heavy with a sharp edge.
Don’t do drugs kids
Impressive short film in this genre. Well done!
I was immediately impressed by the use of period costumes and vehicles and weapons.
The SAS actors looked the part (with beards and headscarf).
The Kugel Drone was also impressively menacing and yet also looked mechanical and had some weapons from the era (grenade launcher tubes, machine gun). The details are what can make a film like this so much more enjoyable for any history buffs.
I also liked the use of the location, suitable use of minimal explosions and fire.
I also like the use of practical effects (more than CGI that is common today).
I enjoyed it. Many short films are disappointing. I give this a 9/10, recognizing it probably had a small budget.
Really cool short. Also, look up anime Heavy Object (2015), some good ideas in there.
I quite enjoyed it. One of my uncles was in the forerunner of the SAS ,the LRDG and he absolutely hated those TV shows like desert rats because they were so crappy and unrealistic. The Chevy truck was Canadian Military pattern and not like the 1938 style Chevs the LRDG used. The SAS used jeeps as shown .Thats the only thing i'd have liked to be different. . .
The LRDG did not use STEN guns, PIATs or Willys Jeeps in North Africa.
@@Mercmad The LRDG were not forerunners but a different type of force that sometimes worked with the early SAS, They were recon experts. Neither use Lewis water cooled machine guns either, Twin Vickers air cooled. They mainly used Chevey trucks adapted, SAS used Jeeps when the went to Italy and France.
@@PORRRIDGE_GUN And cocking the spring in the PIAT was a stone b*tch. (See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PIAT - under 'Design') Plus it did not enter service until '43, though it was in Tunisia.
"I'm Wermacht, not the Nazi" THis lin is so relevant today
Outstanding! You should be proud of what you've produced! I really appreciate the authenticity of it all for a short film! Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much!
I THINK THIS COULD BECOME AN ENTIRE SERIES! I'D PAY TO WATCH THIS ON ONE OF THE STREAMING NETWORKS. ABSOLUTELY GREAT SHOW,
Awesome production! Excellent story, acting and special effects. I am 73 and enjoyed the experience. Best sci-fi short story I have seen in a long time. Well done.
Это не фантастика. Это были Русские.😊
OMG more please, production on this was top notch, congrads to all. Had me on the edge the whole time. More please, thank you.
The finest short SCI-Fi I've ever watched. Hats off to the whole crew.
Amazing work. Someone went to extreme lengths to produce this. Operational sten props and accurate uniforms and vehicles. The kind of details you'd probably see on a Spielberg movie. I hope the crew get the industry recognition they deserve.
I remember Guy Ritchie saying that he made his first movie for next to nothing (in movie terms) and the studios saying here have a hundred million dollars to make a movie and he said I make movies for peanuts and I wouldn't have a clue what to do with all that money. I wonder what these guys would do if a studio said, love that short you made now here's a ton of money, make another one even better!
Some inaccuracies with the MB, particularly the modern tire on the FR corner and the not quite authentic jerry cans. Better than most though.
@@Skinflaps_Meatslapper: I noticed that, too, but for this scale, experience level, and budget, I'll forgive many such details.
Little issues are inevitable, no one trained to fire a sten held it by the flimsy magazine, it was sure to jam.
@@bobroberts6155 Funny you mention that, I used to have a Sten with a worn out magwell that would only function if you held the mag rearward, otherwise the round would hit the edge of the barrel instead of the inside of the chamfered feed ramp...exactly what you're NOT supposed to do with a Sten. I did eventually TIG a steel plate on the inside and then machined it to proper spec before I sold it. Figured it would be better to keep the original parts matching magwell than replace it with a different one.
@@Skinflaps_Meatslapper It’s not like the Sten was made to last, cheap and cheerful as we say in Britain. Interesting you got to shoot one. What I know came first hand from my Dad, he learned rifle drill at school, trained on the Sten in the Home Guard and served in the RAF as an air gunner in Lancaster bombers.
Top notch on those CG shadows! A+ work! Cool flick and that ending dialogue was awesome!
This was excellent, one of the best I've ever seen.
The best among shorts. Keep sharing. Thank you.
Excellent! Very well done, authentic props. Someone paid attention to WW11 details.
That was amazing. Well done film makers, amazing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed it. Very clear and crisp camera images. Good sound effects. Good acting. Sympathetic characters. Surprising plot.
I like this short. It's precise and fits in perfectly with possible history. Even the unarmored rear and self-destruct mechanism is believable.
Very nice short. "I am not dead yet!" LOL, great nod to a classic in British cinema ;)
"Isn't there *anything* you can do?""
@@thedevilinthecircuit1414 * Looks around, swings club xD *
I had a serious Monty Python flashback with that line!
In my younger days we would say something like this was BITCHEN! Outstanding, my only complaint is that it wasn't longer.
Only halfway through and loving it, great story and actors ! well done
Great Movie, very entertaining, the acting and props were right on.
You have to wonder just how many guys simply died out in the desert, wounded or lost after battles. Kudos to whomever did up the German uniform: cotton tunic, tropical gear, period eye protection, period hair-cut, all super well-done. The UK ones were great as well, but those are typically more forgiving, and easier to get right. Weapons and jeep (other than the oddity of the mismatched front tires) were likewise superb.
You are spot-on with your points about the details in this video (and the thoughts about the possible sad fate of lost soldiers).
I noticed the mismatched front tyre as an indication that the SAS patrol may have had to improvise a replacement from other vehicles - it certainly stood out. Considering the attention to details in other aspects I assumed the tyre was intentional addition. Maybe it was 'too much' and detracted from the image rather than assisting?
I think the mismatched tyres was a good addition (if it was indeed intentional) Out in the desert you would have used what you could rather than waited around for the right equipment and spares to be available. Damaged vehicles would have been cannibalised and running vehicles would have been cobbled together as and when they got the bits to fit.
A excellent short, many thanks and love the theme. 10 out 10.From this older canuck. Keep the fine work
Thoroughly enjoyable, what more can I say
excellent movie...nice plot and cinematography...hats off to team it is far better thn any mainstream sci-fi films
Especially nice job on the guns, gear, and props.
All kudos accolades and hats off for a great effort to everyone involved !!!
Well done! Good job on the whole film.
Excellent work!!! The props and uniforms are very well approached. Cheers!!!!
Thanks so much! See more at: mpfilmcraft.com
Absolutely amazing. Well done guys 1 hell of a movie here. Now make 10 more please
This is top notch. Really enjoyed it.
What a Awesome Perspective of a 2nd sci fi film ..blew me away Brilliant acting and music too..thanks
Fantastic storyline! LOVED IT!! Thank you so much for such entertainment, keep up the GREAT work. More please :-) Cheers from Sydney Australia.
really cool. Wolfenstein vibes. Great stuff
Really nice job with the period hardware & uniforms. Acting was good, too. I'd pay to watch a full length movie by these folks.
And once again Indie film makers make a far better, more interesting and more entertaining film than 90% of Hollywood productions we pay money to endure at the Cinema.
Brilliantly put, and entirely accurate. I'd throw in China, as they have started putting money etc into Hollywood
Cool short film, very well done!
Really well-done, and I love the fact that the credits were interspersed throughout the film. It made me focus more on the people involved, and the movie kept on giving. :)
excellent work, thoroughly enjoyed this production
Brilliant short film . Absolutely brilliant
Bobby and Atom from the Not For Everyone podcast brought me here and I'm glad that they did!
Such a great short film. i just want MORE!
Excellent movie. The production level was extremely professional . Best I've seen in a long time , well done.
Fantastic!! A reimagining of those real UFO, spotted by WWII pilots called Foo Fighter.
That was interesting. Good plot, great acting, period correct weapons and equipment. Thumbs up.
the soldiers kit, weapons and equipment is spot on.
very nicely done for its budget and resources this movie is top class.
Good science fiction contains enough 'plausibility for the possibility'. This little gem ticks that box, and more!
This was like watching Wolfenstein go live action. :D
I loved it. I also give it a 9 out of 10. Well done!
Excellent. Superb in every way. Great Work. Thank You
Very Well Done. Excellent Job ! Thank you.
In the tradition of the old Wild, Wild West.- Modern Tech crafted with Old Tech. I love it!!!! Thanks for this entertaining gem.
An excellent film, I would like to see more of this in the future.
Indeed a very well made film, especially the authentic unifoms, weapons and SAS jeeps was so well done! I don't quite understand why the drones attacked their own unit however, but that could've been a flaw during development of course.
The acting was equally top quality, thumbs up for this one!
This short movie is so much better then most of the cr@p that hollywood spewed out in last 2-3 years. Well done!
Outstanding, well done!!!
Great job! As good or better than any war movie!
Excellently done! Most enjoyable.
Outstanding!
Enjoyed this very much! I'd watch a series in this setting.
Almost everything about this film was very good. Their props and costumes were top notch. I love that they were using a freaking Piat gun of all things. Now if these guys could only write a decent script. But then again, it seems that no one can write a even halfway decent script anymore. So in that light, I guess this film wasn't so bad after all.
@@AMRAMRS It is a spigot mortar. It uses a bigass spring not a rocket. No exhaust gasses, but it kicks like a mule.
@@AMRAMRS There is no exhaust, the PIAT was a frigging spring loaded mortar, not a rocket like the Shreks or Bazookas. What he placed on his shoulder was the padding on the end plate, which was how it is supposed to be used. You're confusing a PIAT with a rocket launcher.
@@AMRAMRS as other said there is no backblast, but sore shoulder is guaranteed.
Impressive. Did a hell of a lot with just a little. Good work.
Really well done!
And scary... 👍
Great job 👌👌👌..
Terrific film I love it!
Glad to come across this production. My Grandfather Ronald Hughes served with Royal Oldham Tank regiment WW2 in that campaign.
Wow great short film , loved it Hi5
That was AWESOME!!!
Oh my.... that was intense.
And begging a follow-up film.
Bloody well done. I just hope they survive the war
Also, I just went to your utube site and mined it for your movies. Please do more viking stuff!! Love them, I'm a Norse reenactor. And Thermapylae movies! At least Spartans of that era. And back to your shows
Man that was awesome loved it
Thank you!
Fricking awesomeness !!!
Excellent Drone
The most disturbing moment was when the English soldier took of the German's hat, and his hair looked like it was washed an hour ago. I could barely smell the hair conditioner's fragrance as the wind played with his locks. Basically all men were so clean and neat, dispite they were in the desert for weeks. However, it was a thrilling film, I liked it.
And all with perfect teeth. Hint: next time give the cast some Kraft caramels immediately before the camera rolls. When you've been in the desert for more than three days, your teeth start to feel like they're wearing socks.
awesome film, more of it please
love it, 2 different treads on the front of the jeep
Excellent!!!
I really enjoyed that, particularly the tension and the use of the music to build it. Lots of much longer/huge budget films could learn something about pacing from this!
Best of The Best!
Great video-the ending is super-how about another video follow up-Thanks for this superbly interesting format
This was a very good lil flick.
Outstanding! 😃👍
Awesome job on this.
I could only classify this as WWII steampunk.
Excellent! Thank you!
This was AWESOME! Wished it had been longer, good story line. Make a continued part 2 but at least an hour or more.👍
Absolutely rivetting. An outstanding piece of sci-fi ( if that's the right word, lol. ) The attention to detail is phenomenal, the storyline gripping and the action believeable. A superior production in every sense. More please!!
BTW, A word of caution, guys - make sure that KATHLEEN KENNEDY DOESN'T GET HER MITTS ON IT... OR YOU!!
You mean, when the female drone wins without anyone having a chance, just because? XD And maybe add a few 100 year old german jokes.
Great analogy.
Quite an improvement over those TV-guided gliding bombs
Was waiting for the "dun dun, dun... DUN DUN!"
Enjoyed this! Nice work. Good costumes, props, etc. Although I admit the PIAT in N Africa in 1942 did bother me (historically inaccurate). But, it's sci fi so no big deal.
That and the Piat was Leg Cocked and Spring Launched!
@@achillebelanger9546 The first shot. Each successive shot cocked the PIAT for the next shot.
Others have correctly highly praised this.
Thanks
Well done ❤
Excellent film, very well done.
A good little short, good acting and cinematography.
The SAS weren't much like that. Pretend it's a different unit.
Awesome work.
Great. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
