Really sweet but not crazy about the “kitchen.” Also would have to switch the AC to mini split, toilet to composting and refrigerator to 12 volt. And do something different with the cooktop- maybe chg to electric burner.

Why can't we get this setup but with a bunk over cab? Perfect hangout spot with the captain's chairs and the couch but you wouldn't have to rearrange the couch into a bed(sheets, pull out pillows etc)
John Dodgen would probably say, If I did that, it would be called a Built for Four.

This is a class b not a class c motorhome
I'm a Transporter of class A and all Motor homes and over head sleepers are great when they are parked but to drive around the country it's all about wind resistance, over cab sleepers get very bad mileage because of the wind.
Aerodynamics comes into play with all motor homes. cabover sleeper is lucky to get 10 miles a gallon.

I know what you mean, I love Born Free but this isn't my favourite floor plan. Everyone has different needs for limited space.
@@dianedenham5259 an RV this size needs driver / passenger seats that turn around if you want more seating. The old captain seats.
This Born Free was built when original owners owned Born Free. Very well built rv's so tge price usually holds up better than others.
Looks cool, I really like the bathroom and kitchen options. But don't understand why you have seat-belt options for 4, yet sleeping just for 2. You could have saved room by having a bench/booth-style seating in the back and storage underneath the seats. Isn't it Ironic ;)

A lot too high. Especially in the current market, not to mention in the next year as interest rates go up. It would be too much at $50k for a 12 year old RV, let alone $74,900. At $50k they would still likely be making in excess of $10k on the sale.

@@vtrack1963 So true, that price is absurd for a 21 foot on a lightweight E350 frame. I know those units are high quality but that would take a special kind of person to pay that amount.
This class B tiny RV is almost identical to my 1987 Chevy RV except I have a dinnett where those extra seats are !!! Rear entry door and wet bathroom all in the same places !!!

Really nice about what I'm looking for if the stock market comes back. I would take out one of the chairs and have an impact crate installed for my dog. Perfect for going to trials and avoiding hotels.
Id take out 2 chairs in back and passenger seat ..store them...and do what you said dog crates..be perfect..well built and i bet it gets better gas mileage than most

That unit is teeny tiny. The bathroom is horrible. Me and my dogs go to dog shows. That ‘bed’ is not what I want to sleep on for for 5-6 nights. The kitchen is disjointed and tiny. I need an oven. I wonder who could be happy here?!

Insane price IMO.
Born Free were always high quality but this one is too tiny, really... I wish they would do as many European RVs do - have a bed coming from the ceiling, garage, storage and good size fridge. European vans/rvs have so much more in the same space. It puzzles me why Americans cannot do that. We looked extensively to buy in Europe and for traveling there but Covid changed all that.
I really LOVE this unit! Wish I had the $$$ to buy it right now... Keep posting, tho. Maybe I'll hit the lottery... LOL!
Thank you Luke! Question, can you switch to lithium coach batteries just by repalcing them? The alternator and generator will charge them without any modification? If yes to both of these, what would it cost to have the wiring down by you for heat wraps?
Unfortunately, it is not a straight forward swap. The converter may need to be changed and there is another piece that needs installed on the alternator line.

So this is a very general question, what would the cost be for the conversion and heat wraps? Just give me a range, your guess is going to be much better than mine, as i do not have a clue. @@stevewoods8116 lithium batteries are around $1000 each. Then you'll have another $500 to $1000 in labor, wiring, changing the converter, etc.

we mean don’t always trust the gauges. Meaning it my say it’s full and it’s not, or it may say it’s empty and it’s not. The design that is used for the tank monitors is not a 100% reliable design.
