My supervisor, who is known for his corny dad jokes, comes up to me and says, "Did you hear that Steve Harvy got into trouble for a domestic assault?" I told him no and he says, "Yeah. It was a family fued." I rolled my eyes. 🙄
Born in New Orleans but lived in Georgia since 1966. I don't hear the southern accents because I'm so used to hearing it and apparently I have one myself! 😉
I've lived in the South my entire 65 years and I love it. I live in the town known as the birthplace of Southern Gospel music. The late great Senator Fred Thompson was raised here. A great actor with MANY awards by the name of Michael Jeter was born and raised here. Sadly he died much to young. He was a really sweet kind person. We've had several well known people past and present live here. I absolutely love my country roots and yes I have a VERY country accent. I still get a kick hearing other people talking with that Southern drawl. I have laughed until my side is hurting. Lol...
That was funny. I lived most of my life in Georgia. My mom's family is from Jacksonville Alabama, right next to Jacksonville State University. I know country. I'm surprised noone said anything about the sweet tea. It's more like tea flavored sugar water.
Mississippi girl right here- some have more of an accent than others round here- trust! And we do have POPEYES AND KFC! No Red Lobster, et.. but definitely those! Love me some chicken!! Had it for supper tonight.. but home cooked! YUM!! 😆❤️✌️
I hope a reaction to the Catherine Tate sketch "The Offensive Translator" is on your list for this channel. Many reactors have done it and it always reduces them to hysterics.
My favorite southernism (describing a silly or foolish person) "he couldn't pour piss out of a boot, with the instructions on the heel!" Waiting patiently for my good human shirt ❤️
I always watch your Steve Harvey clips, Jamal. A laugh is always guaranteed. I grew up in Northern New York State by the Canadian border and when we lived in Oklahoma, we went to a home improvement store as we wanted to purchase some "glass blocks" for a wall that we were doing in our home. We couldn't find them so I asked an associate where their glass blocks were. He said, "You're looking for what?". I said, "glass blocks." By the time they found an associate that knew what I was saying, we had 6 associates around us trying to figure out what we were saying. We laughed all the way home. lol Plus I wanted to tell you since you started this channel that I love your intro song. It fits the purpose of your channel 100%. Take care and be well. Peace.
My family is in TN, KY, GA & MS so I understood all of this! And I LOVE me some Popeye's spicy chicken! Love the hat Jamel 🤠 And you do say y'all quite a bit. That last guy was hilarious!
Please take th time to check out The Carol Burnett Show "Cinderella Gets it On" Its a hilarious "HIP" musical. It is about 20 minutes long but so worth the watch. My sister, my cousins, and l used to reenact this skit as kids. It still cracks me up! And YES you have a southern draw to your accent. I live literally on the border of KY, TN, and VA! Talk about a collage of southern deep holler accents. 😂
I’m from Louisiana myself, yet don’t have much of an accent, and you became my favorite CZcams creator once I heard you describe your love for Popeye’s
I absolutely love this episode I'm from the south Ellijay GA to be exact. I sound like a country hick when I talk & dang proud to be from the south!!!!
Thanks! I needed a laugh! I love the game/variety show called "The Gong Show!" Lots of hilarious people performing...waaaay better than any of the competitive shows that are on tv today. I used to be "allowed" to watch it because I was a kid and this show was "racey" for the time period! Please check it out? I'd leave the link (not sure how) so ..if someone would leave the link to clips of this show, it would be appreciated! Thank you..thank you!✌❤🎶😁
@@GivnoFyux444 😂😂😂 and...."the unknown comic"! He has to react to this show. I'm sure he'd love it! We need more back up to have Jamal react to it! 😂✌😂
Too funny! I love Steve Harvey and Family Feud, and yes...I do detect at least a hint of a country bumpkin in your voice, Jamel (you SURE you ain't from Georgia where I'm from?!?) - lol - Peace Out, Brother!
The answer about burying the placenta is actually true. Because it's so rich in nutrients is very good for the plants. I don't know if you can request to take it home with you. As funny as Steve Harvey is, the host for Australian family Feud is even funnier. Be sure to check out Steve Harvey in the family feud when he's been to South Africa. The accents and him trying to pronounce their names Are pretty funny
I was born in VA, but my ancestors are from GA, NC and TN at least. As for me, I've got kind of a combination of the Tidewater and Appalachia accents. So I totally get this!
Aye brother man! I’m from LA… Lower Arkansas myself lol! Nashville Arkansas. Lol and man I couldn’t stop laughing this whole video. Man it’s bad I understood every one of em. And the accents are so spot on. I have a deep accent myself and just hearing them accents I am like I wonder how many times folks done did looked at me and said wait what did you gone done did say? Lol prolly not like that but they thought it! Lol 😂
Jamel, you do have a habit of elongating certain words, so you have a little drawl. I would have thought you grew up somewhere on the Mason / Dixon line, with a little north and a little south in you. The thing that really does it is you do talk at a relaxed pace like a southerner. Sometimes it takes us three damn days to order supper.
Check out Steve Harvey Gramma and Ginga. They were sisters that were 99 and 103. Gramma sadly passed 2 months ago at 106. Ginga is 102 and still alive. They are hilarious. RIP Gramma Genevieve.

When people ask if I'm from the south I tell them "Yep, Southern Californi" Lol.
Naw you sound like you are from Central valley California to me.
btw, you DO sound like you are from my neck of the woods.
Where did you get that hat, and why?
My supervisor, who is known for his corny dad jokes, comes up to me and says, "Did you hear that Steve Harvy got into trouble for a domestic assault?" I told him no and he says, "Yeah. It was a family fued." I rolled my eyes. 🙄
"Started smelling like a Sunday dinner... and we don't eat lunch til 12"
Damn, that was funny
I’ve been able to understand every one of them....🤣
Yep me too 😁
Yeah! 😁😂
That's quite the hat, Jamel. It has character. Looks good on you.
Wait until Steve finds out some people eat the placenta.
🤮🤮🤮
WTF. Really???? 🤢🤮
The hat is great! It looks like you're getting ready to make some moonshine.
Born in New Orleans but lived in Georgia since 1966. I don't hear the southern accents because I'm so used to hearing it and apparently I have one myself! 😉
Thanks much for the laugh. I just moved here to the Pacific Northwest from Texas and the minute I say a word, they know I’m from “down yonder”.
Birmingham, AL here. My cheeks are hurting from laughing.
I love the American country accent. Thanks. For the great reaction. Jamel. 👍😂

Small town South Alabama here. We don't have a Popeye's anymore, but we still have Church's. They don't give ya skinny little chicken wings! 😂
My Momma is from the south, this was hysterical 🤣

Steve was probably covered in spit after that rap from the dude at 7:37 😂

Oh THAT is a fantastic skit! It gets a dig in at everyone, equally, including my heritage, and I love it!
“Started smelling like Sunday Dinner”! Hahahahaha
Thanks for posting this Jamel! I was having one of those days and Steve's laughter combined with your reaction was the humor I needed. :)

You would be fantastic doing Steve’s job.
My family alone has more than 100 people!
The only tine I had popeyes in America, was in atlantla in the mall of Georgia... Shit was so spicy I couldn't finish it. Like damn, why.. 😂
Because we put pepper sauce on everything, even if it's already spicy. 😁
I about died lol
Love the hat!
Awesome
Church’s Chicken is the bomb!
Hey Brother Jamal!! Always keeping great music alive! :) Please React To Some George Carlin!
We still have a Maryland Fried Chicken in my town, if anyone remembers that.
There's a Popeye's on Hempstead Tnpke. in Garden City, NY, right by Hofstra University
I live in a county just north of San Francisco and we don't even have a KFC anymore. Barely have a Chick-fil-a and In and Out.
Naw hunny,in the south it's butter my butt and call me a biscuit
subscribed just because you seems like such a damn cool and nice guy
American by birth, Southern by the Grace of God.
only sound from the south because you are polite. Love ya
Who doesn’t love a nice, good piece of fried catfish? I’m not Southern by any means, but the food down there, damn good recipes and dishes originated.

Glad I did not have my emotion chip installed, or I would have died of laughter.
Church's Chicken is the bomb
I live in Phoenix and could understand everything, Steve was overdoing it just a bit. Great vid
I'm from LA(lower Arkansas) also
And I'm also from LA, Lower Alabama. Someone on the show got that one, too, haha.
I got a family member from NC who lives in GA sometimes we don't understand half of the things he's saying
None of those in Ireland! Would love to try Popeye's someday! sounds tasty.
Steve "I'm from down south"
I thought he was from Cleveland???
Not first but within first 15 minutes 😂😂😂
We don’t have Popeyes or Churches chicken here in Australia , we got KFC and Red Rooster instead
Popeyes Chicken, churches chicken, And Kentucky fried chicken which is the BEST!!!!
Who else saw "country" in quotes in the video title, didn't read the whole thing, and assumed the video was going to have a more... female theme?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I miss Popeyes 😢 when you move away from one it is major withdrawal!
I don't have a popeye's or church's chicken where i am either. I live out in the sticks man.
