This has given me an idea for making Deep Mushrooms from Dragon Age but painting the caps with blue glow in the dark paint instead! Also, kitty purrs and chirps are always delightful

You can also made it Led, and configure an arduino to have light patrons, as a magic forest.
Your mushrooms look really good. If you ever decide to add a few more, I would urge you to make a bark section of a tree trunk to add to the wall first. Then have the mushrooms growing out out it.

These would make good coat hangers with some wire inside!
Have you ever seen 'dry brushing' as a technique? Paint the darker colour first, then take an old brush, dip it in the lighter paint, wipe the paint off with a cloth then rub the brush over the surface. It's used a lot in Warhammer models.

I don't feel the need to choose a favourite, they're all gorgeous. I noticed you applied your shade colour After the lighter 'mushroom' shade. Many makers seem to apply a dark tone and then, overbrush or drybrush the lighter tone on top, I'm curious to know if your method was to achieve a diff look. I can see some of the shadow colour blending up onto the highlights and it works very well.
