Hey thank you for producing and editing this video for us to watch. I'm making a fairy tale gnome inspired seating area in the woods on the property. I thought of how I was going to make my mushrooms but wanted to be sure and after watching your video lo and behold you made them exactly how I was going to try .
Thank you again for the great video.

This is one of the prettiest mushrooms I've found. Your tutorial is wonderful and now I know Exactly what I've been saving those slabs of packing foam for 🤗. They've been in the way but are fixing to be mushrooms in the front yard ❤ Love your gills!

    Nice tutorial!
I appreciate the textured paint recipe..
Have tons of this foam in various thicknesses available to me so hoping to make some big ones.
The one thing I would like to incorporate is lighting.
I'm torn between attempting to install lighting inside the mushrooms or buying colored lights to project light onto the mushrooms and so might experiment with light reactive pigment in the paint mix..
    Thanks!

IF I MADE IT, I WOULD USE WOOD AS THE MATERIAL AND ITS SIZE WOULD MUCH BIGGER. IT WOULD BE A MUSHROOM-CHAIR

The exact same way . I made a six foot long jalapeño stacking foam and gluing it together with Elmer's glue . Carve your shape , coat it and paint it .
I use a turkey carving knife I bought at the goodwill however you can carve it with almost anything. Even a steak knife.
