Actually (Oscar from the office voice) she and most people interviewing someone with the narrative to help, or make them look bad. They sit there and act as calm as they can and dont move to make the person who is angry seem crazy. Police do the same thing and prosecutors do it. It's in their training.

Normally a fan of Bill Burr, but this is a big stretch. Bill Burr does the same thing all the time. They are just humanizing it. they are adding context. I mean, I get burr is a comedian ad has to make jokes so I dont really blame him, and I get Im on a bill burr channel (because im a fan) so ill get hate, but think this through.
If a woman talks about her own real life experience about an abusive boyfriend, its not JUST making is about her. any halfbrained moron can see that it also helps the listening put themselves into the shoes of the victims of r kelly.
