DIY Build: Modern Cat Tower / Scratching post

Using my amateur woodworking skills to make a modern cat condo / cat tree for our kitten in order to give him a space in our bedroom to call his own.
I tried to use mostly leftover materials from previous woodworking projects for this build.
The DIY kitty condo includes a cat house, scratching posts, and a cat perch. It's custom built cat furniture for a one-of-a-kind kitty.

Where did you get the darker brown rope?

I actually dyed it with some pet-safe vegetable dye because I couldn't find the color I wanted.

I use Sketchup for most of my designing - works great and easy to use!
