- In this episode I am very fortunate to have received Arma's new Hurri! Unfortunately I am releasing this video a week after Plasmo did :S
Luckily I chose a different livery - Jak na to + styl
😍👍🏻 This is the best finished Arma 1/48 Hurricane MkIIc I’ve seen so far. Marvellous job on the extra detailing and weathering.
I had the pressure of Plasmo dropping his a few days before

You comment on closing the handhold if you wish to do so, then display the retractable step extended. The two are coupled. Pulling out the step opens the handhold.
Is that how it works? There’s no mention of it in the instructions and I didn’t know

Exactly. That tells me nothing. HKM’s B-17 looks beautiful on the sprues but is an absolute mess going together

I like the Hawker Hurricane MK2 C very nice fighter plane iconic fighter of WW2. Fought against the luftwaffe. The RAF, Dogfighting in the war. ❤😊💯🤩☺️👍🤗🇬🇧🇬🇧

Ahhhhh! A great build and finish, for a great model kit of my favourite Fighter Aircraft!! Yes, I really enjoyed this review, build and paint job, with weathering and I’ve liked and subscribed! You’ll not be surprised to know that I have this kit in the stash....😎😜...and I’m rather hoping that Arma push the boat out and give us a version in 1/32....wouldn’t that be great? ❤️

@@TheModelGuy 😂😂😂 Well, I’ve just watched your video on stencils and “how to make your own”.....I might be able to actually do this thing, after watching it! Mind you, until I invest in the kit, it won’t be a happening thing (it’ll be down to a pair of compasses and a sharp pair of scissors, etc) 🤪

As a kid I used to make Airfix models in about 5 mins, slap some paint on with a congealed brush, set fire to them and shoot them up with an air gun. Just saying.
Lovely build. The Hurricane IIC is a great subject and the model looks beautiful.
If I can find the kit, I think I'll do it in night intruder black with highlights in grays.

I have the Hawker Hurricane MK 2C. Fought the Luftwaffe of Adolf Hitler & Goring the luftwaffe deserved to be punished brought down to suffer. When Hitler & Goring started the war against the RAF Britain. Nice work on fighter plane.
I will be building this kit very soon, and it's great to see it come together so well (although I very much doubt my paint job will be that good!)

Fabric wings would be cool. The wings are an entire sprue of their own so anything is possible

Beautiful build. But... I don't know which model is more valuable this one from AH in 1/48 scale or Revells in 1/32. Rather i choose the second. Thanks for sharing your video.
That’s one way to view the worth of a kit. But having seeing the revell big Hurri I think the Arma one is much better.

The reference photo doesn’t show it on this aircraft. Not do the instructions, they specifically tell you to remove parts for this livery

By the way, have you ever seen the channel Tekamo HD? If not, I think you might find their stuff pretty funny

A lovely build and finish. I'm wondering if that exhaust reference picture you have is of a remanufactured replacement - the exhausts of Hurricanes and Spitfires were made from Inconel which is corrosion and oxidation resistant. Or, if original, perhaps after 70+ years it does actually deteriorate a bit!

Where did you get the square mask to create the chipping effect?
I got them from Uschi. They’re called “splatter templates”
