There was nothing finer as a young British kid in the early 80s, than going to a pub with mum and dad that had both a Space Invaders machine and bottled Coke! Even though we live on opposite sides of the pond, from your videos I can see we had a very similar childhood. Thanks for bringing back those happy little memories dude.
Absolutely, thanks so much for being a viewer
A flat roofed boozer, a bag of Raiders and a bottle of Coke. A memory of Kids up and down Britain in the 80’s! 👍🏼
@@alfonsobonzo3782 Haha yeah totally. You were lucky if you got Coke and not flat warm britvic or some off brand cola! Can almost smell the hops and cigarette smoke.

Yellow ceilings. Flocked wallpaper with tears in it. Fruit Machines paying out beer tokens. The good old days!
For me it was a social club with donkey Kong and bottled coke, good times.
Love the "Special" opening. You brought something back from the depths of my memory.
Thank you my friend :-) glad I could scratch that nostalgic itch
Thanks for the "special" presentation intro at the start, as that takes me back to my childhood and then some, so many great memories from that time. Sadly I didn't get the chance to preorder this when it was first offered, but I do plan to get one to add to my massive Replicade collection. As this will go great next to the change machine/USB charger. All the best, and hope you have an amazing day Patman.
Thanks a lot. I missed out on dragons lair as well as qbert but I was fortunate enough to get space ace and now the Coke machine. If you haven't seen it yet zoltar looks absolutely killer And hopefully I am able to Snag that one as well
I got one of these along with most of the arcade machines they've made. Great stuff! The 1/6 scale" Ghosts N' Goblins" just arrived today.
I am looking forward to receiving ghost. These are awesome
1:04 That reminds me of the Sonic popcorn machine, which featured a mini game to play, while waiting for the corn to finish popping.
This is an interesting departure. As a child i loved those old vending machines and branded toys.
Still do, I think they are really cool
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries I do miss those coke machines that talked and played video games.
Hey, just wanted to say that I really appreciate how you have left just enough breathing space after the first mention of the title "Pepsi Man" for one to cry out the "Pepsi Maaaan!" jingle.
It's the little things that matter.
LOLI should have put that in the video
I used to spend hours playing Coca-Cola Vending Machine at our local Putt-Putt in the 80's. I miss that one. One of the best games ever.
There used to be a game at my arcade simply called “COLD BEER”. Apparently u could win a beer for a quarter if u were able to steer a marble vertically up a ramp and through the winning hole. I never ever saw anyone win it.
That sounds coool
An LCD Coca-Cola game built in on a Coca-Cola machine? Looks like something Nintendo would release on Game & Watch. I'd like to have this mini-fridge.
That would be cool
Your putting Pepsi in a Coke machine reminds me of the time I had McDonald's fries but I used a Burger King packet of ketchup... was freakin' mind blowing!
LOL
I really liked the coca cola mascots from the 80s: The Dancing Decayed Teeth.
LOL
What's more, DDT (as it was known by its friends) was also detrimental to all living organisms.
Brings back memories for sure!
Absolutely
Woohoo, another video that features PatKidQC haha I was waiting to see if Spot and 7-Up was gonna make an appearance.
Oh, that was a missed opportunity. Thanks
I remember playing the Catch a Coke on one back in the early eighties.
They released a handheld version of it as well I just remember it being on the arcade machine
Thank you for this review. I have a Coke fanatic in my life and this will make the perfect Xmas present ! 😊
Fantastic.Hope they enjoy it. Thanks for watching
The only one of New Wave's fine games that I own is their original Dragon's Lair. I have always had a soft spot for the game. When Metal Jesus was provided with a unit three years ago to do a review, I immediately clicked the link and placed my order. I played with it for a while and in that time I had it connected to my TV via HDMI (DUH!) and discovered that I was able to use my SNES controller with the USB adapter. I never opened anything that came with the game. If I remember correctly, the only thing that I removed was the plastic film protecting the screen. I wiped it down and put it back in not only the display box but the original shipping box as well. That was two years ago. Whenever get the itch to play Dragon's Lair, I always have the Daphne emulator and the Special Edition DVD box set from Digital Leisure which includes Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II, and Space Ace along with fully playable scenes that were cut from Dragon's Lair.
On a different note, my local mall has an arcade that for $20.00 you can play all day. Over 90% of the games are from the 80s and early 90s. He even has the rare Taitio variant "Jungle King" not "Jungle Hunt" the one we are all accustomed to seeing and playing. Do some homework and discover why Taito had to change the name. According to the owner, the cabinets he acquired had either been fully restored to their original appearance or from his personal collection where restoration was not necessary. If the game cannot be set to free play, there is a button on the coin door that you can press to trip a credit. Amongst the 100+ arcade games and pinball machines are working cabinets of Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp, and Space Ace. Thanks to all of the practice I had playing DL at home, I impressed a ton of people watching me slay Singe with only having to continue once.
I missed out on dragons lair and qbert from new wave But I was lucky enough to stay space ace. These are excellent showpieces but it's awesome that they are actually functional. I was at galloping ghost for the first time a few years ago and they had the three LaserDisc games you mentioned all side-by-side. Supposedly they have over 400 games which considering everything is packed like sardines it's entirely possible.
Thanks for sharing the info my friend and kudos on your fantastic DL skills
I haven't had a soda in about five years but I'd love to grab one of these to cool shot glasses for my whiskey. 😅
Good call
Dude this is so cool. I’m getting this for my game room. Your vids are great you always have the neatest games and cool stuff. You seem like you’d be fun to game with.
Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate that. Any sort of retro game down for :-)
12 inches of Nostalgia
That's what she said
This looks neat. Yeah it is neat. Featuring Mrs PatMan I see too!
That's actually my daughter helping out
Ah, apologies! Miss PatManQC Jnr then :)
I might get this to take pictures with my 1/6 Cody (Final Fight) and Agent 47.
That would be cool
That’s so damn cool.
Yeah it's a nice piece
That thing looks 👀sweet!!😍
It is!
It goes well with the coca-cola popcorn maker i saw at cosco, thanks Pat for your videos and innuendos!
Thank you my friend for watching
Pretty neat!
Thanks!
Don't lie, you just wanted to show off the slick _Brave and the Bold_ Batclock
LOL I was going through some things in the garage a few days ago and came across a slick Bowling clock that I need to put on the wall :-)
just beautiful
It's a nice piece
One of my fav games for Sega Genesis growing up was cool spot..I wonder why 7 up fired cool spot
Good question, I loved those commercials And the games
I remember when phone/phone plans were being snuck in early Xbox 360 games lol. Another great video man🤘🤣...and coca cola IS the superior pop, change my mind!
Thanks buddy
Pro tip: If using measurements, always use the metric conversion as well, as literally every country in the world except of the US uses them...
Nice review on this replica miniature vending Coke machine, Patman! Thanks for the review. I'll need more dollars and coins to buy Smurfberries from Papa Smurf, so those miniature dollars and quarters will help when not buying soda from this mini Vending machine. ;)
Smurf Berry's. I can recall Smurf Berry crunch growing up. Thanks for the nice memories :-)
I ghost liked the video before watching it because I’m very high right now. I REGRET NOTHING!!
LOL, comment of the day thanks
I was just looking up an old show called Pinwheel (loved Coco the mime for some reason) from 1977-1983 from my preschool years and now you pull out the special presentation bumper and the Classic Coke machine. Did I enter the matrix? Something fishy is going on here.
LOL, could be
That must be a very rare videogame cola machine!
Fill it with those candy soda pop cans xD
Also is this a peltier cooler? (heat sink)
Ohh hell yeah.🤘😆🤘
Thanks brother
cool
It is a nice piece
nice
Thanks
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries can't wait to see arcade history
If you ask me, that 1/6 Zoltar from New Wave might be slightly cooler. Does it dispense soda? No. Does it tell the future? Only if you believe, which is better than "no".
Yes that one does look cooler but I haven't had a chance to check it out in person. I'm pretty excited so hopefully I'm able to get one
Did you realize you made a perfect loop on your thumbnail when you mouse-over it?
LOL no I did not
Im surprised Coca-Cola let them make a New Coke macine. They like to prentend that debacle never happened.
No kidding but they love money so…
At my local arcade there was a vending machine, it had and for $1 each, many selections but no coke😂
LOL fantastic
That special intro....
Yes, gives me the feels as well
Very cool and interesting though the price is a bit stiff. I've lovingly flirted with themed mini-fridges in Wally World that run about $60.
It is a neat little piece
I could imagine this thing being a babe magnet with the ladies at the office if you had it setup at your desk lol 😎
L o l I can see that
I wonder if u can shake the system to get a free soda?!😅😅like the real vending machines!😂😂
I can honestly say I've never tried that
I mean, 90% of soda cans are the same size and shape... it's really not a question of being unsure it will work...
Yes that was the joke
I dunno, $160? This seems more like a $79 item to me. Tiny refrigerators sell for $30 or less. I know this is spruced up, and there's the licensing but...
The license could have been a big part of it hard to say
Shouldn't this go on your other channel?
Let me know if they make a Pepsi one! 😊
You got it
Does the machine constantly spit the dollar bills out because they're not flat enough? 😁
That's why said it's nonworking, just like the real thing LOL
I love this but I don’t love the price lol
Can you do a He Man game Or Transformers
But why to?
Pepsiman🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵
LOL what a classic
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries Pepsiman is cool🤣
$159??? Lol..I'll pass
