Please note: Portal 2 is a fantastic co-op game... when two people who love each other play it. I played it with a friend, and since we're both guys who were in our 20s at the time, it turned into the single most brutal PVP experience I have ever seen.

Adding on the entirety of the LEGO series are excellent coop games for people who don't play a lot of video games. Simple levels, intuitive controls and absolutely zero pressure or time constraints. They are pretty simplistic but for new gamers the LEGO games are an absolute dream and my girlfriend really enjoyed the two Harry Potter games.

Honestly yeah. The only one I've ever played was Lego Indiana Jones when I was a kid, but I'm sure the rest are pretty similar. I got many many coop hours with my cousin on that game.

I just started playing that! I'm playing it by myself like a sad panda, but it's such a good game. I love how they hug and celebrate.
I played that with my boyfriend, dear God. The amount of screaming and frustration we went through. I'm good at solving puzzles but he's just used to straight forward action games and would think he could parkour at every area and kill us

Overcooked looks so much fun!
One great coop game that me and my SO really enjoyed was Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons where we each just grabbed one half of the controller. It was pretty great to go through that story together.
My gf and i’s favorite co-op games are Borderlands 2 and the Halo series. Both have absolutely fantastic stories to play through and you’ll hate Handsome Jack as much as you love your Bf.

Lovers in a dangerous space time, stardew valley, terraria, these were my favorite to play with my boyfriend and maybe we'll try starbound, we've tried once, but the game doesn't have a good introduction to the gimmicks and can get confusing, but those three are amazing from start to finish!!

For a really fun and good Co-op game I highly recommend Snipperclips.
Over cooked is literally just SCREAMING at whoever ur playing with. That’s it. That’s the game.
Good multiplayer games I like: Crypt of the Necrodancer, Enter the Gungeon (seems a particularly good fit for you two), DinerBros (it's like Overcooked, but focus more on the cooking and no level schenanigans), and Worms.

I play Overcooked with my brother and his girlfriend and my sister. We all are laughing and shouting at each other XD we’ve made it through to finish the first one and now we’re up to Overcooked 2! But I LOVE your reviews, they’re always so true lol 😂 My brother is the one who introduced me into games, he’s shown me so much XD and since my generation wasn’t really there when all the older games like for example the old Pokémon’s in black and white, but I have even played them...and they’re older then me XD (I think....) But Link breathe of the wild is 👌👏 PERFECTION! Also really into Jurassic Wold Evolution, and looking at The Isle. But most of the games you have reviewed I have played xD trying out Assassins Greed or something like that

I absolutely love your channel, you have such a similar dynamic to my now-husband and I. It's been so fun to learn more about videogames via him and its cute to watch you do that too! Normally when I play Portal 2 with my buddy it just devolves into us killing each other repeatedly. Its great fun.
