  • Prison guards definitely have one of the hardest jobs out there. Dealing with deadly and dangerous inmates on a day to day basis means keeping your guard up at all times. But sometimes the Prison guards get a little too power-hungry and it's the prisoners who really suffer. Today's video contains graphic imagery and is shocking. Be warned.

I question some of the facts. These stories are 100% from the prisoner’s mouth. Most people make themselves seem better and make punishments sound worse. I don’t question there being horrible treatments. I do question parts such as I made a comment to another inmate about food portions and was stacked by 15 guards. Hmm if telling the guy next to you a guard probably wouldn’t even hear you, so he probably did something, also it would be physically impossible for 15 guards to actively beat him. He’ll try it yourself. Have 15 friends sorround you and see how many can reach you and have enough room to then swing a fist / foot. Probably get half or less of that number.
I also wonder what their crime was as I lose all sympathy for pedophiles and murderers and don’t really care what happens to them at that point as they are demons on earth.

Honestly if I lived in America from all I've heard and seen about US prisons then if someone killed one of my loved ones then I'd far far rather know that they're going to be locked away for the rest of their lives than get a quicker, cleaner death than they'd given my loved one.
I'm British though and honestly it's not even close to as bad and I can totally see why they'd chose life inside to death. Many people can live fairly happy and normal lives in our prisons, all they lack is freedom which you can get used to fairly quickly.
Things are even easier in other European countries so... Britain's AA cat, the top security prisons, look just bad enough to make it a real punishment mostly but even that depends on the prison.
However anything lower, especially when you're a AA cat prisoner, is relatively easy. No one is willing to mess with someone who is already serving life and the day to day life just isn't that hard. TV, library's, Internet connection, games console in your pad, fairly easy work or education. Etc etc...

I did time in a terrible prison Upstate New York, there were numerous horrible things that happened there, the guards we're very abusive. In one instance one day there was an inmate in a wheelchair and he went to the officer to ask if you could be sent to Medical because he was feeling a pain in his chest and he had a prior heart condition the officer told him that he probably only had heartburn and that he should go back to bed knowing that he wasn't going to get anywhere he did As Told and never woke up that man died right there in his bed and this happened in 2021. The officer was not fired just made to do a week of training and came back to the same position as if nothing happened.
