    Thank you again Victoria for another helpful video. One of the challenges for most of us is dealing with our impatience with our recovery. We want our body to work and respond right now. This, of course, is not happening for most of us and thus can lead to increased levels of frustration and anxiety which leads to more impatience etc....please keep making these positive videos.

      @@ATouchySubject The Dr did explain but left a vague variable as to when and if it would return to normal. As they have to, because if they give a guarantee they will get sued by some idiot

    I'm could get a semi after 8 weeks from surgery, with taking silidefil citrate, and a bit of stimulation.
    That is also after the surgeon said he had to cut the nerves on one side of my prostate, due to an enlarged tumour on that side.
    So I'm hoping eventually it might come right.ps being 59 years old,
    Its a bit depressing. 😞
    The most important thing tho, is getting bladder control again, which is going well, except when I cough.

    So if you suffer from Ed , those pills should help you ?

    • @ATouchySubject
      @ATouchySubject  Pƙed 4 lety

      They are one possible option - however there are many underlying causes for ED so it is important you speak to your healthcare practitioner about the causes first to then identify the best options for your situation.

    Is there another reason to take medication after radical prostatectomy besides the ability to have intercourse? My father is single, not interested in sex and would rather not take medication unless he has to. He has been prescribed Taladafil 5mg every second day.

      Me feeling 6 months out from prostatectomy is that if he does't do something then it will be much more difficult later if he changes his mind. Taking a pill and then exercising the blood flow into the area by some means is like insurance for the future. Best wishes.

      Hi Ciner, this is something that he could discuss with his urologist as it will come down to personal preference. He may be interested in our free penile rehabilitation program where he can find out more about different options: www.atouchysubject.com/help-for-ed-post-prostate-surgery

      Same with me, no reaction. My doctor seemed shocked that it hadn’t worked and that was 6 months ago! Still nothing. Coming up on 1 year now and feeling hopeless.

      A bit late to read this. Sorry. Same for me, but I kept on taking 5mg daily at night based on the Urologists advice that it "should be doing someting" even if I don't get an erestion. It should be helping blood flow and "may" let me have night time erections (one so far after 6 months post op). I personally feel it is something to persevere with even though, same for me, I felt little to no effect. My urologist was not surprised - and I had severe E.D. going into prostatectomy.

      Hi Tompat, you're quite right, I haven't been through prostate surgery or erectile dysfunction (due to lacking the necessary equipment). My video content is based on what I've read in the clinical literature coupled with common challenges I've heard from hundreds of men who've gone through prostate surgery (via consultations, research and email conversations). This video felt necessary to make since so many men in my audience were giving up all hope after trying Viagra and it not working for them post surgery. I may not be the ideal messenger of this information for everyone, but that's ok, it's hopefully reached the people who have found it helpful. Thank you for sharing.
