Thank you for sharing this! We also use separate curricula for each part of ELA, and it's challenging to decide when to focus on each aspect, imo. I'm also curious about Beowulf Grammar--looking forward to your review!

Okay the index card with the rotation is so simple, but so smart! I wish I’d have thought of that way earlier! Def going to try implementing ASAP. I also appreciate that you mentioned trying to fit everything in every single day just isn’t sustainable. You’re so right and it sets us up for failure because once we start missing things, then weeks start going by where things get missed, and the whole train starts to derail, whereas this method allows for more flexibility. Thanks for this video and hello from South Africa. We use Rooted in Language's Pinwheels Language Arts I find it a great "all in one" curriculum for my child. It has the weeks laid out. However, after we complete RIL's Wands programe I will need to implement a custom ELA programme using niche resources for the different aspects of ELA. Thanks for showing me how to implement this.

This was great! I would love an all in one LA for my 3rd grader but I think you’re right that there isn’t one that’s good for every topic. How are you liking Beowulf grammar? I’m considering it for next year.
