Je aanpak om Nederlands te leren is erg goed! Nederland is een van de weinige (misschien zelfs het enige) land ter wereld waarin je als buitenlander prima kunt functioneren zonder de landstaal te spreken. Dit helpt niet als je Nederlands wilt leren. En bovendien - veel Nederladers zullen bijna automatisch op Engels overgaan zodra ze horrn dat je een buitenlander bent. Ook dat helpt niet! Practice makes perfect. De enige manier om toch Nederlands te leren is om het zelf te spreken en dit dapper volhouden.

I’ve been living in the Netherlands for 6 years now and tried to learn the language many times but was inconsistent. But at this point I want to learn to experience the culture fully, language is the main gateway indeed! Your tips on “actively” immersing oneself in dutch are super helpful! A small tip from my side: I also changed my phone language setting to dutch and also navigated the city with google maps in dutch(and reached safe in one piece)😜Have my inburgering exam next month so double motivation 🙌🏻Thanks for the timely useful video!
