It has been a few days since Pete has put out a video. I hope Pete and his family are doing ok and all is well. That the videos did not come out because of the usual farm work can get to you. My wife and I met Pete and the Big Red show and had a lovely talk with him. He was extremely nice to us and just a true gentlemen. We hope nothing but the best for you Pete and your family.
I hope Pete and his family are ok.
Praying for farmer Pete and his family hope all is well
❤🙏
@@susanayers2781 I have no idea if anything is going on. I just know Pete puts out 2 videos a week and we have seen nothing in 9 days. I am concerned as he and his wife are just lovely people. I do not want to start rumors are anything, just hoping it is farm work or vacation that has kept him from posting. Lord knows he and his wife deserve a vacation.
Well you succeeded at starting a rumor so...
I love the sound of the old tractors. It is a sound that can not be duplicated on new tractors. I have been binge watching this channel. I should have been in bed 7 hours ago but can not stop watching. Great job Pete and Pete's wife and thanks for sharing.
Like others I am slightly concerned about Pete and his family who we all appreciate so much. I live over the pond in the UK and I first found this site while looking for videos of Farmall tractors. I hope he and his family are OK.
Gee guys I hope your ok, haven't seen you on in awhile, hope all is well. Blessings ❤
I love to watch you work on your own tractors. I learn a lot about it. And saving money by doing it yourself
Hi Pete. Hope you and your family are fine. Maybe your fence post guy finally came and you are busy before the snow flies! Chuck in Florida.
Good job. It’s always good when you get done putting everything together and you don’t have any parts left.
😂😂😂😂😂
Love watching. I miss them so much. Hope they are well. Probably busy getting the turkeys ready. Miss the farm animals, too.😊
I love this, very relaxing... from Saudi now and it grounds me to home in Nova Scotia.
This was interesting , I love the farmalls . You can tell from the castings and the parts that these tractors are high quality machines , unlike the stuff made now days . Good video , thank you Pete .
I don't think I could get fed up with your vlogs Pete there all good and educational thanks
Pete! you don't have to Hope I enjoyed this you know I did!!! can't get enough of these old Farmall tractor mods and repairs and restorations. can't wait till you get the new garage/shop built to get the "Big" Rigs " in there for stuff. that's going to be fun!. tnx again for making this old man happy. and God speed. ECF
Having spent a good part of my young life making hay on an H with sickle bar mowers, I sure love to hear the H start and run! I would cut your hay for free, just to relive those great times! One thing though, as a younger person my tractor had an A.M. radio.... now that was living! Thanks for the memories Pete!
I enjoyed the Roster talking to us - fun
Haven’t seen you two for a couple weeks. Freaks me out. I hope and pray everything is okay. I enjoy all that you and Hillary bring to us. I completely understand taking a break from the pressure of a u tube channel or page whatever it is. I appreciate you. Thanks and again I hope you’re okay. I have a bad feeling.
Flannel patience therapy complete. Thks Pete! 😎 Another repair cmpltd. See you soon
I enjoyed this video, and appreciate the increased frequency with which you have been uploading them.
Love the way you talk to your parts.
It's been days. Are you sick again or just taking a vacation? Hope everyone is ok. Praying you do video's soon.
"I do grassfed meat, I work on old tractors. I forget things." The reality endears you to US and especially my students! Thanks for giving us the cycles of life and work on the farm. That creates very teachable moments for these precious ones.
Another super helpful and well taught class from The University of Pete. I love watching while sipping my morning tea while the world keeps spinning wildly around us we can relax and watch someone who knows what the heck they are doing.
phew, thank god there are others who agree it’s been a few too many days since Pete has uploaded a new video. hope all is well! I do recall him saying he will start taking things easier/slower so perhaps the man’s just enjoying a good break🙏🏼
Pete, I'm not your usual viewer. But my Dad taught me how to repair all sorts of mechanical stuff and he emphasized that his daughter should know how to repair her car, appliances or at least have the knowledge to do it. Thanks for the memories.
Everyone deserves a little time off! This is a difficult time of year for farmers. Weather and time changes, less light, more time indoors. I wish Pete and his family the best! We viewers understand and appreciate the worries and financial stress that comes from trying to live the traditional family farm life. We can relate! Your experiment is a noble one and many loyal viewers look forward to your next video! Take care!
Hey Pete just want to say my family and i truly appreciate you and hope you're doing OK, we miss you and we're praying that you and yours are well
Old gas tractors have a unique sound. It''s rythemic and low tones. I enjoyed watching an assembly that actually went together with out a hitch. You have the touch.
MARCO! POLO! Yes Pete, I too went looking for you as a week is a fair amount of time but generally you're more prolific. This is 9 days now. 🤔It's been years since I was on a tractor and I miss it. Hope all's well.👍😁
Now you fixed the best land mower ever
Good Morning Pete! Thanks for taking us along..
Can’t wait for a tractor build this winter
See you next time, my friend. Thanks Pete!
I finally had time to give my full attention to this video and thoroughly enjoyed it today! Years ago I came to your channel for the animals and will always watch yourself and Hillary doing the regular farm chores of course, but seeing you work on tractors and other equipment has become a favorite for me. While it's informative and historically enlightening, I find it very relaxing in a way because I get so engrossed in the detail of what you're doing that every worry and stress I have running through my deeply sad and depressed mind actually disappears... if even just for these few precious minutes, it means so much for me. Thank you, Pete! Really enjoying your content!
Always had a saying “ we do it right because we do it twice” I feel your pain
Facts are fun and your gentle way conveys them. Thanks a lot!
Hi Pete just wondering if everything is OK on the farm miss you posting a video this week
God bless hope all is Well

I am a time served 5 yr apprenticed Mechanic, started my journey in 1977/8 and I have a love for old cars, bikes and tractors, so loving these videos ;-)
Where I come from putting a board on a floor jack is making a special tool 😂
It's always good to be able to repair something and then have it work like it should. Nice sound. Thanks
...and beyond all that amazing rebuilding, I often wonder about the folks who actually created and made from scratch, all these systems and parts that work so smoothly when rebuilt by steady hands. What a beautiful Country we have around us. Which includes a huge thanks to Pete and family for reminding us where most of us came from. All the best, and Happy Turkey to all.
Hi Pete and Hillary. I have a friend who lives in New York and saw it was snowing. Wanted to see how the start of winter was doing with you all. I guess you’re on a CZcams break. You all deserve it. Take care and hope all is well.
I bale 1200 or so small bales each year and for many, many years have used a 42 Farmall H and a nearly identical mower to yours. It all looks so familiar. It's amazing how many of those tractors, produced around the timeframe of Pearl Harbor and WW2, are still running around and earning their keep. I also have a 1940 M. It's good to see I'm not the only one who carefully brushes up a gasket and has to immediately take it back apart. Nothing goes perfect the first time! I'm worried something is wrong if it does!
She sounds good Pete. Another good job.
Love these old tractors.
Excellent video Pete :) on repairs did Hydraulic pump also enjoyed watching take apart and reassembled back together and nice red fill oil cap to Lol ! Also love all Farmall tractors all neat stuff on them and make smiling to seeing! Wish could seeing more on Farmall tractor in person my late Grandfather Harold my late mom dad father had back years ago only saw pictures of it! But heard was funny part used on Slaughter barn business to raise cow on pulleys systems on belt driven and on farm land to! Saw restoration done fully to in 1993 but in Mesumn now I heard back then ! Hopefully see someday!
I love watching you work on the old farmall’s. I always learn so much that helps me in restoring my 1966 140.
Your hands & knowledge are amazing.
Hey Pete I hope all is well with you and everything is okay since you haven't posted a new video. Keep up the great work and videos sir!
Why do I watch these videos? I've never lived on a farm, I'll never own a tractor but as a retired machinist I still like watching people repair and assemble things. It just kind of keeps it alive in me somehow. And it's nice to see that I'm not the only one who ever forgot to put a part in and had to go back and do it over once in awhile. Keeps us all humble I guess. Love all these videos.
My Dad passed away 5 years ago today… he was an Oliver guy! I grew up working with him doing exactly the type of work you did today…. Thank you again for sharing your life and reminding me with every video how great life was growing up on the farm!
Yay! Sickle-bar mowing back next year!
Pete, thanks for the laugh at the end of the day. I was watching and when you left out the piston I could not help but chuckle. It brought back memories of my farm days when I was the one that always rebuilt the tractors and equipment for the dairy farm. For some reason, it was not considered a success unless you had parts left over! 🤣🤣
The sound of an H brings back my childhood. Thank you again.
Hey Pete your one of my favorite blogs I hope you’ll be releasing a new video soon. Good day
Another great video Pete!
I love the fact that you include your errors, for example, forgetting the pump piston. As you said, “It happens”. Thanks for keeping it real.
Very informative.
Thanks so very much for all of your videos. They are very educational about the "old" tractor. You really keep them in great shape. Have a great day and week end.
Job well done. Your self-taught learning is impressive.
Good video Pete. Always fun to see what you are up to. Have a great day.
I think it's great Pete that you can fix your own equipment. Yes its time and Money to make these repairs but think of the cost if you had to have a mechanic come in and do the repairs. Would think that some on here do not like watching you do this as they would prefer to just have you deal with the Cows and Pigs. But I like watching you do your total rebuilds on your equipment. I hope in the future you will do a total rebuild on that Tractor you bought recently. It seems like it needs some Pete love given to it. As always Pete great job and looking forward to your next Video.
Hello Pete nice work. Good entertainment in my spare time, have a good day
Quite the showcase of tractors in the "new" implement barn! Im so happy for you. You should be proud! 😊
Have to say I enjoyed watching this for a wierd reason. I know absolutely nothing about tractor engines but this morning after seeing the news your new video popped up and I loved the simplicity of it. Listening to you talk your way through the process of refurbishing that part. I found it calming and interesting also.
I love your videos, even your occasional jokes. Thank you and have a wonderful fall.
Good Morning Pete!
Great video, Pete! I thought I was the only one that forgot parts when reassembling things. Thanks for showing the entire process, including the goof-ups we all make,
Pete, have you asked Ordin or Patti if they borrowed the pliers? Y9u never know. Lol. I enjoy your channel greatly, and look forward to your postings, especially the jokes. God bless.
I have a 43 or 44 H. It still is being used on my farm as well Pete. Them old tractors are a joy to work.
Always appreciated, educational, and wholesome!
Its snowing in Montana and Pete is rebuilding stuff , I’m happy 😄. Looking forward to sitting by the fireplace and watching and learning this winter.
Yayayayay I looked your channel up yesterday thinking it should be today or tomorrow and I was right. So excited!
It's such a satisfying video to see the hydraulic pump assembled and back and working onto the Farmall. That location in the garage should be known as the video rebuild studio on lot #1 with lighting and cameras ready to go. This was a really great video.
Always look forward to a new video! Makes my day every time! Glad you got the pump back together!
I love your videos Pete and the fist tractor I ever bought was a 1966 farmall 656 gas
I live in the suburbs. Why do I watch these videos? I don't know. There is something reassuring about a decent skillful man who knows how to get stuff done without a computer screen in front of him. Thanks for all you do Pete. Inspiring.
The Farmall H was a favorite of my Dads. Always worked great, I'm thinking it was a 1948 model. He also had a 1938 A John Deere. He always said he wouldn't trade the Farmall H for 3 of the John Deeres.
422k absolutely nothing makes me happier then seeing success . You guys definitely deserve it. Fantastic wholesome content and down to earth everything. Just love you guys . I get the notifications on my iPhone and watch on the big screen in the house or garage .
Great video. Life is precious. Your videos take us back to a time of a simpler life. Fir that I thank the two of you
You could have cut out the bit about the forgotten piston, and left out jumping the battery, BUT you didn't, a real day on the farm video from a real guy, THANKS
LOL, "and then I need to tear it all apart..." So many times I have had the same experience.
Nice to watch this morning with a cup of tea. Have a nice day.
Love the sound of an H starting and running. Great video Pete!
Good repair Pete! Takes patience and some been there done that experience. Now enjoy the satisfaction and know that tractor will be ready for work next year.
Your tractor is the same age as I am 1940. My Grandfather raised me on the farm.
I got to operate it with a loader and a V snow plow in winter, I was 10 or 11 years old.
You sure have to remember a lot taking that pump apart and fixing it.
Thanks for the video as I so enjoy watching them.
Good day all.
Boy that Ole H sounds awesome
Love how you keep everything ship shape!
I grew up on an H. Was my tractor from a 6-9 year old. Seeing you working on the H brought back many fond memories.
That would make you over 70. I hope I get there
@@Mangsaab195466 actually.
Great video Pete . Thanks for sharing the H with us .God Bless
whoa. f-12 had hydraulic lift. it ran off a bearing quill on the side of the main gear box.. the lift actuator was on the top of the bull gear case. the seat mounting had to be changed for this arrangement. i have always been a big fan of f-12 and f-14. thank you for all your videos. i feel i have learned a great deal. your lessons are always carefully researched. very best wishes
Thank you. I thought the F12/F14's used a mechanical lift. I stand corrected.
Its really cool to see how everything works on the pump
I hope Pete puts up a new video soon.
Back in the late 1960's my Dad mounted a belly pump on our 1939 F-20. Worked great.
I love this old Tractor episodes 😊
Well done Sir. Sounding sweet for 80 years old... Here's to another 80...
I imagine you will find the other two pair of pliers when you come upon where you last laid them on the roof on a Ledge I have found stuff in a false ceiling one day you will remember when you find them tell them good luck but nice new pair of pliers
Great vid, have seen other vids that skip some steps, like that you show all details. Have a great day
I have watched the last two videos . I see your in your element now. I am happy for you. Later
Hi! Mate so glad to see you again great video as always hope you all are doing well and god bless you and your family my friend.
nice job on your plan to keep all of your running gear in top shape by doing the jobs you can in the equipment shed. It won't be long before your working on your plans for your dream workshop 😊
Always a pleasure to watch your videos about doing repairs.
I just rebuilt one of the circuit pressure relief valves on my 1996 John Deere 490e excavator... Newer ones use a screw to adjust pressure so you don't have to replace the spring to do so.
The H is my favorite tractor as I spent much time driving one on my uncles farm back in the 60's.
