I will be sad to see the pigs go as I think they are the stars of the show. I do however understand the economics of getting rid of the pigs. Thanks
He thinks he may keep ages for personal use,,,
I hope.
I agree the pigs are the cutest of the show !
Pigs are my favourite along with the cows
Since neither Billie or Bossy are aging out I wonder what is going on there.
Yeh I’ll miss them too. They’re so cute
Pete and Hilary, your channel is one of the best on CZcams. Love your vids and what you share with us. 🙏
Hope you both have a SUPER day!
I didn’t realize how much I was missing the farm and animals. Thanks, Pete and Hilary. Have a great rest of your week.
I, for one, am glad to see both of you with smiles on your faces this morning. My farm operation plans seem to change from week to week. 2024 looks to be the year that I lock it down and make it start working and being profitable once again. Pete, Hillary, y'all are an inspiration to us all. Thank You
He is using Farmalls. Maybe you should too.
Hey Pete hope y'all are doing well. Really good to see you guys can't wait to the next one
Love the way Titus answers you when you talk to him 😊
"It is deer season. So... You can bet what that was"
and my Brain went: Rabbits!! 🤦♀
I watch big seed and beef farmers and they spend time fixing fences and equipment, hauling grains and looking up the weather. Your smaller scale allows for time with the animals and fixing and restoration. Much more fun. Less stress. Much less debt too.
So sad no piglets. One would have though Brownie and Bossie had both been bred. Billy appeared to go thru the motions. I’m glad they’re going to get another chance.
Is there Viagra for pigs ?🤗
If neither of the females was bred ….. logic would suggest looking at the male.
I'm glad Billy is getting another chance he's still young and full of life. I'm hoping they keep the pigs till old age.
Apparently youbmissed the part where he said they were QLL going to be butchered. The 2 have a 2nd chance if they get piglets but even then it sounds like after that they are gone too.
I was more worried about you and Hilary than the animals or tractors the wife and I were just talking about how few videos you were putting out,it doesn't matter what you video just keep us informed on your well being another good video stay safe and God bless
It’s working! It’s working! The water is working!!! 💦
Thank you so much for bringing us back to the farm animals today. I really missed the cattle, the pigs, and the chickens! 🐄🐖🐓
I know you gotta keep up the maintenance of your farm equipment, and you display fabulous workmanship. You have a wonderful hobby. But I get lost in all that mechanical tech stuff. 🚜
So, today, I was so thrilled to see an update on your farm. Thank you. 😊
Your will to keep trying with the pigs despite the current situation is admirable. Will be a shame if Billy doesn't work out - he's quite a character, but it will also be understandable. Pigs are a lot of work and a lot of investment with very little return on non-industrial scale.
Not worth their own stench.
There is little return on them on industrial scale. Pete would be doing a good job breaking even. Actually being able to make money off them is a stellar performance.
Thanks for video. God bless your family.Happy thanksgiveing.
@ghammond3132 unfortunately they are the exception, not the rule.
Especially in today's economic climate, the majority of people want cheap. Small farms can't produce cheap. Pete went pretty in depth into this a few weeks ago.
Over here in the UK the situation is that large scale farming is to the point that after expenses, the net profit per head is in the pennies.
If you raise 1 or 2 pigs for your own personal feed, slaughter and butcher your own meat, (very hard to do legal slaughter your self) then you can save money, but if you try to do less than 200 heads, you will loose money.
Hey Pete! Hopefully Billy works out for you. If not, maybe I can put him out on pasture with JJ's offspring to give him another chance. Hopefully you still have my contact info. Jennie and I would love to show you the progress we've made on our small farm since you were here last. If you're ever in the area, please feel free to stop in. We hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thank you! I am sorry that JJ did not work out for us. We enjoyed having him here.
I like Billy. He's a good boar. Hopefully, he can breed.
You always are putting out videos when I’m supposed to be doing my dang morning chores ! 🎉 Thanks for video
Hey Pete, enjoy your Thanksgiving!
The cattle have such pretty winter coats this year!
12 minutes and 412 likes and 2300 views, you are doing something right! Thanks for the video.
Always enjoy your relaxed jargon. Thanks for the lessons presented with such enjoyable presentation. You and Hillary really rock. Have a great winter.
this channel is a temporary antidote to all the cringe in the world
The fall retraction of choirs. It comes with snow but gives you restoration time in the warm shop. I look forward to the Holidays with hot chocolate with the grandchildren and all their winter activities. Thank you Pete and Hillary for sharing life with us.
Bossy Pig, Billy the Boar, and Brownie have become “regulars” on the videos. Like other viewers, I will miss them and their unique personalities. I realize that farming is a business and pigs are not pets; but if I could I’d buy them and let them live out their days. Thank you, Pete, for sharing!
Pete, I replaced my hand Post Driver with a gas powered unit. At 60, this Geezer's shoulder, back and recovery is so much better. Just a suggestion on one guy's homestead to another guy's farm. Keep up the good work and Red Paint.
Yo have accomplished a lot this year. The tractor storage looks like it is meeting your needs.
I enjoyed this video. I hate the the fencing people didn’t come through for you. Thanks for the update the pigs and cows. Looking forward to go through the winter with you and Hillary The various projects that you have going on. I’m always excited to see what you are doing. I think the Lord you take the time to tell us about each part of the repairing of your equipment and the development of your cows and chickens..
Yeh a lot of farming channels do it themselves but I think they live in the south which has less rocky dirt than up here
It is funny how we worked so hard to get the high level education and obtained good paying jobs but what we really want is to just have a quiet corner of the world where we can grow our own food and enjoy a quiet life. At this point I am considering giving up the fancy cell phone and going back to the basic cell phone. I absolutely love your videos. So soothing for the soul. Thank you.
Same.
Canada geese are calling everybody to head south to the warm shores of Florida. You really feel the seasonal changes on the farm
We have a small hobby farm with dairy cattle and chickens so far. We’d like to add pigs soon. We have chores every day, including hand milking my cow. I STILL enjoy watching you do your farm chores while I drink my morning coffee after Bible time. I watch you do your work and it inspires me to go out and do mine! Thanks for your videos!
Great update!
Thanks for the video, always enjoy watching!

Great video. Can’t wait to see the winter project.
I really like the video's brings back memories I grew up on a farm and looking for a small farm now so thank you for showing the day to day work.
Good to see the critters are all doing good. Thanks Pete/Hilarie.
Thank you for showing us the animals. I kind of missed them even though the restoration was interesting also. May you winter well. seems I always enjoy watching your videos.
The sound of the geese overhead nearly made me cry. I live in northern Arkansas now after spending years in Florida. And I never heard geese in either place. I did live near the Mississippi flyway if anybody knows what that is.. my whole life. And all the sound of the geese when the sky was filled with them is something I cherish and will remember forever. I envy you
That ending shot of the sunset was beautiful. Well done Peat.
Hey Pete and Hilary 🙋 that's a lot of geese. I enjoy watching them fly over. I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Thanks Pete!!
Enjoy all of your videos. Missed seeing the "herd" but enjoy your restoration videos, as well. Anxious to see the finish on the boom slinger. Thanks Pete and Hilarie for all that you do.
Great video. Glad to see all the critters getting ready for winter.
Always a pleasure Pete.
Coffee and JAFAF. What could be a better start to the day? Have a great day Pete, Hillary and family. ❤
I'm glad to see you showing a farm video! It's been awhile.

Looking forward to your newest project. I really enjoy it when you go wrenching on the equipment. Hope you have a great winter. Stay warm.
Pete, such a great channel you have here! MJM
Always good to watch your videos, big learning curve too. I grew up on a farm, went alway for college, but never got back to the land. My loss. But I have had a great work ethic. A real get it done gal. Tganks for sharing your farm and family life style. God bless you all.❤❤❤
