Fun fact, an Item in Chapter 2 is basically the Ring of Thorns from Dark Souls 2, with the Counter ability swapped for a Trance ability.
Further implication is through the currently unobtainable weapon, the "Twisted Sword", of which it's reference should be obvious, which requires the Thorn ring, and an item called the Pure Crystal.
...This means this Video predicted future Dark Souls homages in Deltarune.

Wow. This animation is amazing! The menus look very accurate, every attack is animated so smoothly, and the soul even moves at a set speed and doesn't randomly go faster or slower for no reason, one of my biggest pet peeves with Undertale/Deltarune animations. You did such a great job making the fight look like its actually in game, great job!

This is really cool. The knight is FAST, truly Hunter like, not just fast bullets, but the rapidly moving spear makes it even. It also show how a knight would fight, with a bow and a sword. It even has a pitch mode/ Phase 2! 10/10 animation.

I think it would make a lot of sense for the knight to be Asriel, or at least a character that looks very similar to him. Because Ralsei is the character Asriel pretended to be when Kris and him would play together. This Asriel, though, could represent the older Asriel, not being able to play with Kris anymore, and, effectively, destroying the imaginary world they played in, which is exactly what the Knight would be trying to do, destroy the Light world.
I liked the model you used for Knight. This animation was really good. I hope you finish The Adventure Of Blue Crystal Orb. I like that animation a lot.

Whilst the ending of Chpt.2 could be seen as a hit to this animation's success in prediction, this is very well made.
Nope. Kris didn't open the library fountain... Berdley and Noelle said they were already studying there, and *then* fell asleep and woke up in the dark world. The fountain wasn't opened by kris... it was opened between Noelle getting there after school, and Kris getting there a bit later. The closet on the computer room says it's big enough to hide a *large* person in there - someone was waiting in there for them to arrive in the computer lab, to open the fountain. But traffic was blocked to the Library for most of the day... except for the person blocking it. It's a shame, I forgot who. Now that I think of it, wasn't there a character in Undertale who was an actual Knight? Dang, I forgot who that was again... The Queen says you need determination to open a fountain. Wasn't there a character in Undertale with lots of Determination? At the end of Chap 2, Kris opens a fountain... after opening the front door - maybe he wants someone to come inside and enter the dark world with them? Didn't Toriel call someone on the phone about the tire slashing, who said they'd come right over? Kris caused that slashing, and left the door open for them... he wanted to lure them in. But I forgot who Toriel called...
Really, all of these things together... it just seems... *fishy*.
And Considering how much the knight in the video resembles the armored form of a certain Knight from Undertale, I'd say this video aged like fine wine.
@@monky7106 You say that as if you know what happened there for sure. When Kris and Susie entered via the CLOSET, they ended up in the unused classroom. Not to mention they somehow were in stasis in the light world for a few seconds before they fell in, which could've happened with Berdly and Noelle. Besides, we see Susie (a monster), Noelle (another monster) and Ralsei (a Darkner monster) both make use of a soul of determination in battle, so how could it exclusively be Undyne? That'd be a very cheap plot point for such an early point of the game.
@@idrinkdihyrdogenmonoxide.2525 First, in Chap 1 they moved between dark worlds/rooms because of the big gate/door or whatever, which represented the literal actual door between the school closet and the unused classroom (which is where the second dark fountain was opened). Also, taking a while before they fall in doesn't mean much for the computer room fountain - for starters, the closet fountain seems to work differently than others, and even when they were in it before falling it was still dark as hell. Not to mention, it didn't happen when they entered it in the second chapter...
Nor did it happen when they stumbled across the Computer Room fountain itself in chapter 2. Also, determination is not inheritly linked to souls in the sense of "if you have a soul, you have determination" - literally every monster in Undertale has a soul, but only Frisk, Undyne (in some scenes), and formerly Flowey have had any amount of Determination that amounted to anything. Not to mention, it's implied in the Queen's bits of dialogue around her boss fight that Darkners don't have Determination and cannot open Dark Fountains. And I'm just saying, if Determination opens fountains, Undyne would certianly excel at that compared to some random shmuck off the street.
@@monky7106 So their light physical forms can still move whilst being in the dark world. You said it yourself. Makes it no less likely that they couldn't have somehow moved in front of the desks. You say that the closet fountain works differently, but we've only seen two portals- we barely know considering our data is too limited. Both portals practically look identical on the outside with the dark effect, and almost the same thing happens when Susie and Kris enter the computer room when compared to the visiting of the closet. They jump in, then stands up, being at the entrance of the world, often secluded from the main part of the game due to barriers. They are nowhere near as different as you paint them. They literally just jump in, since they know what dark fountains are.
And remember they visited the closet to get CHALK, so someone must have put some form of chalk the closet initially, in case the aforementioned item has to be resupplied. It wouldn't have magically appeared there, and Alphys clearly knows that chalk is present in the closet. So how could the chalk be there whilst there's a dark world in the closet? Wouldn't they have fallen in before they had the chance to place it somewhere?
Besides, the dialogue from Queen before the fight leans towards the idea of Lightners being able to cast fountains, not it being exclusive to determined beings. Since then Kris would be the ideal candidate considering they have a soul made out of pure determination (if Undertale's logic still goes by in the subverted reality of Deltarune) and a vessel that can control it. Queen uses Noelle specifically to help cast a new fountain using the pin she gives her, which is out of the ordinary considering Noelle is a monster and would have astronomically lower amounts of determination than Kris. Sure, Noelle could and most likely makes use of determination (implied by Snowgrave) but surmounted to Kris, the one with the determination to bounce back from death and utilise the power of saves? Something only Frisk, Chara and Flowey call back to in Undertale.
Besides, Undyne would be a very strange candidate for the Knight. Why would she doubt the existence of the Dark World if she created it? Why would she create a fountain in a library/school? Why does King say the Knight gave them purpose for them to overtake the Lightners; why would Undyne convince King to try to spread darkness and to attempt to destroy the Lightners? Why would she create something that she is (implicant of being, assuming your stance) aware will bring the Roaring, something that will lead to despair? Besides, how do we know that the Knight is a single person? The King and Queen have very different views of the Knight, with King portraying the Knight as a malevolent, almost religiously powerful entity who gives purpose, whilst Queen portrays the Knight as someone who made a nice fountain and asked her to commit a bit of world domination. Could be the Knight appealing to different perspectives, or could be different entities entirely. Heck, even Berdly announces that he wants to make a new fountain before being interrupted by Ralsei's prophecy of the Roaring. We see Kris create a fountain, so who is the 'Knight' to the people brought into purpose by the creation of the fountain? It could as well be any random Lightner on the street considering the lack of knowledge on who it is and the given fact that Berdly does threaten to make a fountain, or with Queen trying to get Noelle to summon a new fountain for world
domination.
Point in case, we know incredibly little, and the evidence and clues we have are not clear-cut. We can theorise all we want, and have a great time at that, but its unlikely that we'll get the story, lore and events understood to perfection.

The closet fountain works differently for sure, that much is already *proven*, even if the exact extent is unclear. Specifically, it is made of "pure darkness", so darkners from any fountain can exist there without turning to statues - and presumably this is how Ralsei wasn't a statue in Cyber World.
As for the chalk, it was put there a while ago. The Closet Fountain didn't necessarily have to have always been there - Ralsei speaks as if the specific Dark World has existed for a while, but some characters there also mention the Queen - BEFORE the library fountain is ever created. So how do they know of a queen that does not yet exist? Clearly these worlds exist prior to their dark fountains linking them to the real world, so for all we know the Closet Fountain may have been created while Susie and Kris entered it, regardless of any statements about its long history.
The Library Fountain was made on the *day* of Chapter 2 - between the two Queen fights, she has this to say about The Knight: "Today It Deigned To Create This World"
Also, Toby himself said that Deltarune is a different universe with *different rules.* The big dichotomy here is Lightners vs Darkners, not Humans vs Monsters, it's unlikely Monsters have particularly lower amounts of Determination here compared to humans.
As for why Undyne would deny the existence of Dark Worlds... She's playing dumb. She's the only NPC you can even *tell* about them, which is pribably an important detail - but notice in Chapter 2 her reaction to telling about the Dark Worlds again. The amount of laughter is excessive, and feels very forced. Her motivation? It's hard to pin down, the current running theory is simply speculation upon speculation upon speculation. But so far, it's hard to think of motivation for any other possible candidates for The Knight, either, putting them on even footing in that regard. As for the Roaring... nobody, not even the Queen herself, even acknowledges its existence until Ralsei brings it up. It does not seem to be common knowledge, not even among Darkners, not even among the bosses of each Dark World who'd planned to open more Fountains.
I'll concede that this is all Speculation, but there are enough hints pointing at Undyne to make her a suspect, and right now we don't exactly have a lot of those, so she doesn't have much in the way of competition.
