Combining all four would probably lead to the combination between the two combined mechanics mentioned, you get a shield on your back and shooter on your front, moving to the right has the shooter on the right and shield in the left, and moving to the left, shooter is on the left, sheiks is on the right, you are stuck on the bottom, can only move between lines side to side, but can jump on the line with no problems
God, this is so slept on. The battle, the dialogue, the little details the the different attack and defend icons for each character, the buttery smooth animation, this is gonna be the next big Deltarune fangame.

I love this because not only is this basically a love letter to UTDR but in the context of the weird route we're hauling Kris along for the ride here and they just watched as Rouxls hauled their Brother, Mother and Father out of a box to use as a one-off attack
I really love the idea of a boss mashing concepts from throughout the game seemingly randomly together, like it's some jumbled mess that still managed to be made into something new
The part with the box was really interesting. The dog bouncing on the shield being used as a gimmick where you have to bounce it while shielding attacks was well made. I also liked the blue/purple soul part

One of the best and most original Deltarune fangames i've seen! some attacks on that last phase seem a little repetitive, but the music and sprites are very nice, and Rouxls speaking in perfect english is one of the most threatening things i've seen in a UT/DR Fangame. Second only to the entirety of MANOS and Cool Bird shattering the fight slider.
Rouxls Kaard is still gonna be the final boss. He is a massive meme, and what would really make him intimidating is if he stopped speaking old English in the final fight!
I *am* curious scenario-wise (if you guys ever did another)... What if Rouxls Kaard dug yet-deeper than Undertale? What if he began digging into Homestuck itself? (Partially prompted by my Brain Poison of "Wait, is that a Homestuck Lemotif, or am i going crazy?", i'm likely wrong but i thought sworn i heard Doctor(?) at one point? :V) At least, assuming it was Rouxls Kaard who does so. And god knows what he could pull out using *THAT* box...

I like how the fact he keeps changing the rules also begins to warp reality and causes the game to be glitchy. Especially when he begins using Undertale's rules against you
My only problem with this is that it doesn't feel like the weird route. The weird route seems like it's trying to distance itself by genocide by being more complex. You still have to kill everyone and get to skip puzzles, but you have to kill them in a specific way, make certain choices, buy two rings to continue, and messing up any of these things can end the whole run. You are manipulating people into doing your dirty work, where as here you just do it yourself. Other than that it was really cool and felt like something toby might actually make. Other than the glitching, it was cool when it reset the tp bar but just being a visual affect after that was just annoying.

IIRC undertales bad route is called "No Mercy" in the files, yet the community decided to call the neutral route that has you kill everyone you meet without grinding out encounters that, instead calling the true bad ending "Genocide" despite it never being called that anywhere in Undertale itself as far as I know
Rouls Kaard actually is super strong, like he can hit as hard as Jevil and he can also do some super powerful attack, but he was hindered by the fact he mostly became a statue.

Like at 15:07 since kris is unable to cast magic, perhaps the "TP" bar should've changed into determination allowing limited regeneration at the cost of draining it. + at 37:04 after he starts being unfair so the determination should've glitched into "Plausibility" allows both regen at the cost of drain and possibly allowing you to attack him at max tp? Would've been way harder but interesting!
A very fascinating take on Rouxl, I do say. I really like the idea that Rouxl had to be limited by his own creativity and stuck with simple puzzles for fun hijinks because once he knew the full extent of controlling the rules of The Game would cause... A Game Over. He must not know his full potential, case in point, this phenomenal battle. That fear knowing even Rouxl can't K.O. you permanently, that there's rules he cannot change, shows what power the Player truly has. Because, how can you have a Game if you erase the protagonist? So what does he do? How to stop the Player permanently? End the Game. He wasn't trying to avoid damage from the Player. He was trying to avoid becoming a statue, at least until the Game Over arrived. Heck, Jevil got a spot in the action and turned into stone too. He probably thought it was worth it though. But what I love most about this, is Rouxl Kard fought standing. Despite knowing failure is imminent, he went down standing. As a great man would. Or in his case, a great dad.
There's some really creative stuff here! The only real comment I'd have is that some of the attack boxes are really big / empty, which gives the player a lot of freedom to dodge. I'd tighten them up even just a little bit to amp up the pressure. Love the general vibe and the different stages this goes through. Some fun jokes and very cool references. What a lovely work of fanart!!
Rouxls Kaard is like that one character that sucks and is only used for comedic relief until later in the story, where he becomes actually strong and starts trying.
My favorite part is the details in the background starting at 40:21 when the Kaard Castle Arena Falls along with the dark fountain, and the dark world slowly falling into darkness ass the battle progresses, and it gives a nice attention to detail

I feel like at 37:24 after that important rule/decree he should've introduced "plausibilty" or that itself should've forcibly replaced "tp" like you're forced to fill the gauge on purpouse to proceed and make him weaker? Be able to hit him? Also a good moment for this could've been when the party members left, kris doesn't cast magic so rouxls should've said something about it, like a regeneration bar or something.

I feel like at 37:24 after that important rule/decree he should've introduced "plausibilty" or that itself should've forcibly replaced "tp" like you're forced to fill the gauge on purpouse to proceed and make him weaker? Be able to hit him? Also a good moment for this could've been when the party members left, kris doesn't cast magic so rouxls should've said something about it, like a regeneration bar or something.
15:03 notice how unused "tp" was kept all battle, it should've glitched into "DETERMINATION"? like the gauge itself allowed regen at the cost of being drained? Could have made this experience more unique.
After years and years of just sans fights, this was super refreshing
Permanent regen felt unfair tbh, should have been based on tp (that was sadly ignored)
