You see, this is a final boss done right, because of a lot of factors:
•the game didn't scrap its rpg formula to throw a completely different style in the final boss since you still get to test your skills in standard rpg with the first phase of this boss.
•The mechanic was introduced earlier in the game and is very well executed.
•i like punch out.
Additionally, the punch-out segment itself still possesses RPG elements
The mechanic being shown earlier is basically like papyrus's puzzle explanation in normal undertale needed to even make a chance to beat metatons puzzle
I kinda want to test to see if you start sucking really hard at the punch out section maybe it might throw you more of the usual combat segments.

This fight is like 100% more funny when you equip the duck head, since you get to pilot a giant duck robot

If you get all recruits, you can get more characters to fuse with you in the scene where everyone becomes Thrash Machine and also higher HP if you get more recruits.

Fun fact: Making the machine a duck in chapter 1 makes one of your skills into "Sucky Attack," which will make your attacks drain hp for a short amount of time.

What’s crazy, is how you build your Thrash Machine in the first chapter influences the weapons you use in this fight. I had a sword instead of a laser ability

Anyone else notice that our heroes' level is increasing after every Dark World is destroyed. I noticed that we become LV 3 after destroying the Cyber World
I believe that with every dark fountain sealed our Hero's get stronger..increasing LV by 1 which means LV isn't obtained through EXP.

It probably is just the level for the Charater. Not level of violence. My dad believes that when the Dark fountain is sealed it's power goes into Kris Susie and Ralsei and makes them stronger. Which is good cause enemies can deal a lot of damage if you get hit
Here's my theory LV still stands for level of violence, remember chapter one ending? If you compare it with chapter 2 ending kris become a lot more aware and violence. My guess is everytime a fountain is sealed Kris LOVE increase and at some point of the game the soul (player) will have to fight against kris who already have a high LOVE

The fact that the whole game's plot was just because of huge misunderstanding just fits Queen's status as the most hilarious villain too well.

Honestly this was the most fun boss so far.
The transformation into a badass duck mecha and the whole punch out vibe was incredibly fun.
I love the references from Punch-Out.
Bald Bull Rush, Dreamland Express, Hondo Rush, they’re all in there.
I get the Dreamland express being the three kicks (which can double as a Dragon Chan refrence), but I don't know where you're seeing the Bull charge and Hondo Rush?
Im fairly sure the double kick was a great tiger reference too?

Ralsei has no hat anymore but he still creates shade on his face out of pure will and narrator power
Looks like Max HP for the Thrash machine depends on how many Enemies you recruited.
Also I like how this fight not only has a normal Dodge mechanic but also used that Punch-out type mechanic in the Minigame.
(Also it's worth noting you can still graze attacks while using the Punch-out dodges. You will noticed thanks to the Soul Outline)

If recruits are lost (you defeated them violently) You can't have them join your castle town. They'll also not help with the thrash machine.

I really like how this fight is one of the few battles where Mercy isn't an option.
(You can tell if you can't spare enemies because the Mercy bar will have an X over it.)

The funniest thing when I played it was that I went full Duck with the 1st chapter contraption. And it made such a hilarious payoff. Even if the mech had a lame move.

This is one of the best finales I've seen in my life, they brought back the Punch Out gag for an actual final boss and used the Thrash Machine as a Power Rangers Mech for a kaiju battle.

@Little Breadstick oh, true. but I was thinking about how during King's fight (lancer's dad), you could fight using the act menu.
It still counts as a pacifist route if you fight the Queen, since you can't spare her just like Asgore in Undertale

You have to deplete her HP regardless of which way you’re fighting, since ACTing in this fight just gives support during the punch-out segments of the fight. So I’m pretty sure using the attack button is fine for this boss.
The mercy bar is “broken” so you’re good.
I found it nice how you get more HP if you were to recruit more ppl, because i NEEDED that 300 HP

I LOVED this final battle! It was freaking awesome when I first played it and I was playing through the last part of the game mostly blind. So I had no idea what was waiting for me around the corner. I knew about Spamton NEO, I knew there was the Snowgrave ending, I knew about the “Weird Route”, yada, yada, but I never knew about a Punch-Out-style giant mech battle at the end! And my god, I was blown away so hard I think I got whiplash! It was freaking AWESOME!
I love how the Queen stomps at the end of each phase; it’s very ADHD of her. I already thought of Tumblr ADHD from “get the banana,” then she straight-up has a meltdown.
Came here for 11:20. I already love Ralsei, but seeing him actually talk down someone is a treat!

i just realized, when giga queen loses battery, her eye area thing goes staticy, not unlike spamton's lenses when he isnt talking in his psycho salesman way. maybe im reading too much into this, it could just be a consistency thing for the cyber world, but still i felt like i should point that out

I'm like 80% sure that the Queen's giant robot had Sonic quills just because she looked up stuff on peoples' search histories that everyone agrees "looks cool" and found a metric ton of Sonic OCs and just slapped it on there without knowing the nuance behind it, just like all the little things she put in everyone's rooms, lol

@@FazFaz yes that's that, 'cause in the transformation scene, in your game we only see rouxls and the...dog commander... forgot her name, and in my game, i tried to recruit everyone, and had 250 HP because there were more Monsters in the fusion i think

The least I had was 220HP. I believe every recruit would add 5+ of your health.
I think the worst part about Queen's plan with Noelle....is that what Kris does in the Snowgrave Route is all she needed to do to control and shape her...had she done that, she'd probably succeed.
...but then again, maybe not...cause she isn't Kris. 🤔
