ya...i understand soundbar better from this video alone. by the way, just bought samsung Q900T with 7.1.3 and it sound amazing when paired with my samsung tv with Q-symphony and it connected well with my old sony dvd. try on Celine Dion dvd concert and it felt like i was in her concert live. soundbar really up the game.

the jbl 5.1 (550 watts) seems to be more then enough to enjoy any movie.
I got this one 5.1 surround 550 watts.. its cool. You wint regret of spending your money. For starters...
Try to bring your own blu ray player and blu ray discs of your choice. Just remember. The appropriate volume should be. Enjoy...

Just tested out this soundbar for a week.... the sounbar would of been perfect if it only were louder... the older jbl 2.0 version sounds way louder for only 200$. The subwoofer on the 5.1 is the only good thing going for it.

I owned the jbl 5.1 for 6 months. I liked it but reduce any expectations of sounds bouncing off walls and surrounding you or behind you. That does not happen in my experience. Instead it has good width and occasionally you'll hear sound effects in the corner of your room but most of the time it's very front heavy. Dialogue was clear and the bass can go from level 1 to 5 with 4 and 5 enough to scare our cat! I recently sold it and I'm now looking at the jbl 5.0 multibeam with its virtual dolby atmos and built in subwoofer for just £350.
I just returned my JBL 5.1 surround...
To get the JBL 9.1! Alot better!
I'm also thinking of doing this although when comparing both the 5.1 Surround and 9.1 in the store, the 9.1 whilst sounding better and more immersive, didn't sound like it was worth almost twice the price.

I use a stereo pit of apple home pods for my sound bar and they work very well. Sound awesome too!

Hey nice video..... Howz the new jbl bar 5.1? I have heard the older version which had detachable rear speakers...but i was a little skeptical to buy that coz of the detachable part running on battery..... the new version seems to have fixed that concern
The detachable rear speakers can be powered with usb cable. So its real 5.1

Am I seriously supposed to believe that the bounce-off-wall technology is consistent enough to replace a having a physical speaker as a rear?

I have an old Samsung HT-J5500, kinda hating on the wires now as i moved places and there's no proper way to wire them. Would a soundbar be a downgrade in terms of Quality?
Can't adjust center speaker for better clarity dialogue. Had to keep on adjusting volume for dialogue and action scene.

Hi i have Jbl bar 3.1. I don’t think anything is coming from my Center channel all i hear is a stereo even with surround On. Is there a way to test the center channel?
my tv is not in the center of my room, its in the left corner. can I still use a soundbar and get the same surround effect if it's not centered ?
Draw a square, our TV is in the NW corner and our sofa/couch is in the SW corner.

If you use mounting bracket on 5.1and set it up on a wall wont it cover the "two rear speakers" and kill surround feeling?

Which would be the best option, Logitech Z906 or Samsung HW-Q60T soundbar or JBL Bar 5.1 soundbar. Will use for tv in my room (9x9) for movies and music and will also be use for parties. Great video keep it up. New subscriber obtained as well❤️

Echi Goya very good for my home but damn that bass is deadly deep real quality bass to afraid to turn it up but no issues yet. It’s ok cause I have a 2 year warranty
Echi Goya yeah can tell the difference between a standard movie and a 4k movie with Atmos, It’s like ur in a cinema. Gaming as well is great
