its good that the ibis doesn't wobble with such an UWA lens but its not super smooth stabilization but i prefer that over wobbly ibis

I never felt like you had a weird head with the 16-35 🤣. But I do sometimes with this one as a vlog lense 🤪. I can't say I like it that much... 3:08 that close-up b-roll, then the plant and the conversation after with 2 or more subjects... it looks too funky.
When you move too much around 🔄, it kinda makes me a bit dizzy how the background proportions change as you go round 🥴. On the other hand, I don't find the lack of stabilization to be a problem (at least in that body). I don't feel disturbed by shaking, but I do by how the background changes and feels like spinning and makes me slightly dazed.
It's not for me! But it is really sharp and I like the image quality overall. Thanks for the review!
An overall good lens if you own a SONY that is hahaha -- Came for the lens, stayed for the humor 😂 ✌🏼

The wobble in the corners looks lot better than the canon wide lenses (I notice wobbles a lot in Pete's vlogs)
I think that’s actually the IBIS. Canon has really powerful IBIS which means super smooth footage, but tends to give you wobble. Sony’s not as stable, but less wobble
I commented that Pete's IBIS was acting funny, he replied that he didn't care

Seriously if your reading this go buy a cluster of 14" pots, organic potting mix, 2kg of fertilizer for herbs and vegs and grow your own veges. Its great. Are you still using the 14mm for vlogging? Which rear filters do you recommend? Have considered replacing it with the 16-35mm GMII or Viltrox 16mm f1.8 or is the hassle of the rear filters still worth the benefit of the 14mm?
