LA Confidential, The Next Three Days.
Don't forget cinderella man
Nothing will ever compare to your original role ❤ crowe
a beautiful mind? lmao
How do you know? Denzels in it after all
Ridley has millions of reasons 😂
Green ones! 💵
“Fighting round the world”!
Dude has the coolest voice in Hollywood
One of the. There are quite a few others who’s voice would stand out in a crowd easily as well its so cool.
I'd listen to Russ read phone book.
A prequel would’ve been more interesting. To see the rise of the general, Maximus. Also to see glimpses of Marcus’s rise to power as well.
You're right. That's a far more interesting idea...
Be kinda hard to make crowe look that young though don't ya think?
@@bricknmotor definitely wouldn’t be him. Maybe someone similar looking to him but younger. But he definitely can’t be replaced. That role was iconic.
@@bricknmotor Joseph Quinn could've played a younger version of him. Especially since they cast him in this new one anyhow.
This comment is Gold❤
"I was in Malta because I love fightin' 'round the world..."
Gladiator is Russell’s second best work, right behind fighting round the world
I love that he said if Ridley felt like making it, it has to be a strong reason.
Money
Ridley has made so many bad decisions. If there's one director I absolutely do not trust, it's Ridley Scott 😂
Yeah exactly what's been said. Look at the guys Filmography, a few major blockbusters and dozens of absolute trash on film. Makes you wonder how much of that success he is ultimately responsible for.
@@fredwin Dozens of "absolute trash" films? I'd love to see your list of what you consider "trash" by Ridley Scott.
@yamamancha not trash. But he's so prolific that he has a shitton of misses (napolean, Robin hood, prometheus, good year, all the money in the world, exodus, the counselor, body of lies)
Russ- you were young and gorgeous like the rest of us, and its fleeting, and you made your mark and no one will ever forget you as Maximus.
He must be the only male from his era in Hollywood who isn't spending millions on trying to look half his age.
He has not aged well.
"What we do in life, echoes through eternity."
@@schoolofgrowthhacking No but thats just life and ol Russ lived it properly lol- he was a smoker and liked food.
@spooky3412reincarnation cycle?
"makin songs and makin movies, fightin 'round the world"
Trailer to part 2 actually looks good
Pure Crowe.
Love it.
FOIGHTIN ROUND THA WORLD!!!!
ROIAGHT MAAETE
Tug tug tugggggaa
"He fights his directors and he fights his fans. Its a problem no one understands" 😂
Makin' movies
Makin' songs
And foightin' raound tha waorld
Time for us to be agoin' no more Russel crowin' for youuuuuuu
Gladiator is all time my fav movie. ❤❤❤
Crazy how fast time passes man’s is already 60 years old he was 36 when he made the movie I was 1 year old when it came out I watched the movie when I was 6
South park was spot on all those decades ago. “OMG ITS THE GLADIATOR GUY”
He's makin' movies, makin' songs, and foightin' 'round the world!
"Where should we go fight people next, Tugger?"
Won't be the same without Russel
Unfortunately
So many actors will be missed
I doubt they are trying to do “the same” thing again.
Yeah his character is dead 🤷🏼♂️
Why would they even try and do ‘the same’ again? It’s not a remake, it’s a sequel.
Enjoyed his response. Love his voice.
Bangs on about how much he doesn’t like answering questions about it, answers a question about it in great detail including going in a tangent about the colosseum
"MAKIN' MOVIES SINGIN' SONGS AND FOIGHTIN' ROUND THE WORLD!!!"
TUGGAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
goated South Park episode 🤣 Tuggah blowing his "brains out"
Joaquin Phoenix is what sells the movie
his performance as a crude, cruel and ruthless tyrant turned the movie into a masterpiece
That and his performance in joker sold box office numbers
@@elperrodelautumo7511 I don't associate with your response go away
@@bumblebee7547damn what happened to you he was supporting your cause 😭
@@feudalocean8428 no he was not
@@bumblebee7547 how so? He was supporting the fact that Joaquin is a great actor
after every screening of the part2 before the credits, someone should just stand and scream "Are you not entertained???!!!!"
every. single. time.
Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington would brake the box office numbers through the roof but ey you only get 1 heavy weight per movie.. big up to the producers for giving us another one💯
I like how he is so honest and upfront about everything. You have my respect Russel Crowe!
He's kind of rude I think
@@DragonZombie2000Well he was clearly a little irritated. But considering that, he was pretty damn composed and polite about it, don’t you think?
@@safeysmith6720 Knowing how fiery he can be, I thought he spoke with remarkable aplomb. He's probably been asked the same questions a million times already and still kept his composure when asked yet again
@@zebeddy Exactly!
"Because I'm dead" got me lol
Mr. Russell is such a gentle man and so real. Respect sir! 🙌🏿
Lmao have you seen the south park episode? Apparently Russel Crowe loves "makin movies, singin songs and fightin 'round the world!" 😂
@@lovelybones8179Even his own boat can't stand him 🤷🏻
@@mephren #justiceforTugger
@@lovelybones8179lol his two fav things are foightin and foightin round the world!
Gentle, one adjective I would never associate with Russell Crowe!!!
Bro he still sounds the same. What a legend.
One of the greatest films ever. Gladiator has no sequel, gladiator needs no sequel
I was entertained by his answer.😊
"Makin movies makin songs and fightin round the world!" 😂
H hahahahha YES! I just posted the same thing!!. "Who wants to hear a song off me new album" the fkn tug boat shoots himself 😂😂😂
Best comment
OMG I commented this under a guy who said that Russel Crow was a "gentle man" 😂
"Oh my God, it's the Gladiator guy!" 😂
Damn Trey Parker and Matt Stone lol
Russell played the hell out that part
I love his voice
Gladiator is among the best movies ever made.
It should be a Prequel. Proximos Stroy
That is actually a good idea. I also thought a prequel about a young Maximus rising to be a revered general and show the backstory of him and Lucilla would be a good prequel, but a story about Proximos would also be kick ass.
Can’t see how a sequel will work at all. The end of Gladiator really feels like an end to the story.
@@patrickthomas2119 exactly. And Proximo is a proper character. Your idea is good aswell but then I want a young Russell Crow :D
We are all dead men!
Genius
fooooook yeeeesssss!!! that would be sweeeeeeeet Proximo!
I can't wait to see Russel Crowe in Gladiator 2
The Gladiator uses his afterlife to give a statement about his previous. Respect.
Russell kept it 100
He is too heavy to be in it anymore. Even if his character didn't die in it.
Such a badass film. One of the greatest ever made.
First part, yes. Sequel is just money, money, money.
I can’t even watch it anymore because the end is so gut wrenching. That being said, that movie is superb from beginning to end.
One of my FAVORITE Russell Crowe movie next to Beautiful Mind. They'll have some big shoes to fill for the sequel.
Man, he sure was dapper and beefy when he filmed that first movie.
And his fellow gladiators were ripped too, especially Hagen, the Germanic one, towering over everyone.
