My nationality is Dutch, I was born and raised in the Netherlands, and I still live here. I'm from the Caucasus region by ethnicity. For personal reasons I'd rather not disclose the country I'm from, maybe I will in the future.

THANK GOD! I just figured out that my hair is slightly wavy - when I was little it was dead straight but now it's just been going frizzy. I thought I wasn't using enough conditioner but I let it air dry and I had small waves in the front section of my hair. I thought it wasn't wavy enough to do a whole curly girl routine, but I'm gonna try this! thank you :))
Aaahh this is so me, I always thought it was straight but my hair would be wavy out of the shower and when it’s dry it can curl around my face and I’ve been looking up how to care to see if it’s actually wavy like the strands look like 〰️〰️
Thanks for the video. I have mostly 2A waves, but a few 1s and 2Bs and Cs. My hair doesn’t know what it wants to be. I’m glad to see something besides a CGM.vid.
I’m just beginning my wavy hair journey. Right out the shower I notice these s shapes in my strands, and I thought that’s just how wet hair always looks like. When I brush out my hair, it gets frizzy and even poofy. I never once considered I could possibly have naturally wavy hair. I think I might have 2a waves. I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to learn a whole new routine, but I’m excited to see if it does enhance natural waves in my hair.

Yes! 2A that actually looks like 2A. Your hair looks great. Some q's:
1. Do you happen to know your hair porosity and density?
2. Which product did you apply after plopping?
3. Four products seems like a lot (I only have 1 leave-in and 1 mousse but my waves don't hold like yours) Did you build the routine over time or follow someone else's?
I've also heard that it's easier to style with the denmnan brush if you take out some rows. Thanks for this!
1. i actually haven't looked that much into it, all i know is my hair is quite thick lol
2. i used the bounce curl light hold creme gel after plopping!
3. i basically experimented a lot with trial and error with products and methods. also watched a lot of other videos from people with wavy hair to see how their routine looked like and what products they used.
4 products look like a lot indeed for someone with wavy hair, but that's how it currently works for me. i am still trying to find methods/ways to reduce the amount of products but to get the same results!

I have 2A at the back of my head, all the way to the ears. But then the whole top of my hair is pin straight. 😂 it sucks, I’d love to try this… I did it; but only my underhaie gets wavy lol. They’re alwayd wavy unless I straighten them
Hey! Idk if it's a little late for that but try brushing the side you weren't as happy with from the other side. If you take vertical sections and you usually brush from behind, try brushing putting your brush in front of the strand and then do your brush styling technique.
Hair sometimes wants to curl in the other direction and maybe that is why that side didn't turn out as defined.

do you like gels or cremes better for 2a hair?
this video is amazing but what I really want to know is what do you do the next day to make your hair look like this? (Without washing)
i spray it with water and scrunch again! when my hair gets very tangled up i do brush it slightly with a denman brush after spraying

Have you tried using lighter products like mousse? I feel like the products you’re using here might be too heavy with your hair and it might be stretching out your waves

just spraying my hair with water! and then scrunch to "reactivate" the products! if my hair really needs a detangle, then i'll brush it very gently with my denman brush

Same. When i do scrunch with styling cream my hair get flyaways 😢
@@lilegipte440my hair is probably a 3a when it’s wet but dries to a 2a or less in waves more wavy at front than back but I have one length below shoulder length hair medium to fine I’m new to this as have been straightening my hair all my life and I’m getting on a bit 😂 my daughter told me to try the wavy method as curls run in my family all my kids have them my youngest son has spiral curly hair
