Remove monthly celebrations (science month, Linggo ng wika, UN Month, district, division, regional, national press conf, festival of talents, contest organized by other agencies but participated by learners, etc)participation to fiesta. Bring back the simpler Performance Appraisal System for Teachers, it is much simplier. Remove the IPCRF, it entails lots of paperwork.
HUWAG NAMAN. THEY NEED SOME FUN TOO
Those activities are needed for the Filipinos to learn: how to interact with others, enhance communiation skills and sportsmanship, to name a few. You may not see the importance of these school activities now, but these help build character. These activities too, help students to acquire self confidence, public relations and a good communication skills. Without these acquired skills, even the most intelligent person would be unemployable. The less stress or faction in the working environment, the better. Employers search for would be employees who can do the job right, interact with co-employees, noe who can help the company grow...those who can think on their feet...someone with lots of common sense. Academics alone won't help students to explore knowledge, these outside-of-the-classrooms activities provide them that opportunities

Ibalik ang GMRC. Isama subject ang batas trapiko. Home economics at mga bagay2 na angkop sa png araw2 na gngawa ng mga Pilipino.
Dapat kasi ang extension ng high school ay di mandatory, kung sino lang ang may gusto at dapat libre ang pag aaral sa mga special course para yong walang kakayahan na mag aral sa kolehiyo ay maka kuha nalang ng special course or techincal course.
At ibalik ang NCEE para sa sa magka college. Upang pag butihan ng mga bata ang pag aaral upamg sila ay makapasa sa national college entrance examination.
Dito mapipili talaga ang pag pasok sa kolehiyo.

Hindi alam kung ano gagawin kaya kung anu-ano tinuro vocational na sana yung extended two years tulad ng automotive, refrigeration, electrician kaya lang walang pasilidad hindi handa kaya napunta sa stem na dapat sa junior high pa lang pinag igi na sa ibang bansa calculus sa high school pa lang dito kolehiyo na.

The problem is even a student who has a poor performance level up. In my days if you are poor learner the teacher retains you for another year or so till you are able to upgrade your learning skills.

As a Fil-Am, K-12 was a boring in the US. It would've been better if they provided vocational training and limited work experience. Larger class sizes dilute the education by making it impersonal. With the exception of Singapore, Southeast Asia in general doesn't invest a lot in research and development compared to more advanced nations. It's related to K-12 because you need something to motivate students.

K to 12 Program must cater the employability of graduates to make them productive citizens in society in which jobs are available for them as for instance in all govt and private offices that requirements to be employed in a lower level jobs must be a Grade 12 graduates irrespective of Strands, and also a requirements for taking candidate soldiers in AFP as well as for qualifying exam for PMA and PNPA... In addition all sales lady/man in different malls must be grade 12 graduates not a college graduates that is rampant in Philippines because of lack of available jobs for graduates... No problem with TECHVOC grade 12 graduates because they have NCII certificates as their license to be by employed in some company...

The employers must align with the education system as well. As you can see there’s a lot of skilled students, however the minimum requirements for a decent job at least bachelor’s degree holder.

I think teachers should focus more on honing the right skills, for example, communication skills, programming skills, other job related skills. Furthermore, Pres. Bongbong should release a memo, mandating that private companies should stop requiring job candidates to have college degrees, especially if the job can be done with the right amount of training. Some jobs I can think of that don't need a degree are ESL teachers, cashiers, security guards, mall baggers, waiters, waitresses, factory workers, and so on.

Mr President just put in Elective Subjects in High School like we have in 70’s . Like first year- Home Economics , embroidery and stiching etc or basic drafting skills and second year you can choose wood carving & machinist , watch repairing etc. 3rd year mechanical , electrical etc and 4th year computer, bookeeping & basic accounting etc . Like we uses to have in Elpidio Quirino High and other government school in Manila in 70’s

English, Math, Science, Religion, & preliminary education on our history, but later on they will be given reading materials about our
history & to test their reading comprehension they will be given exams on the history reading materials they were given. This way
their knowledge of our history will be more acute. Later on they can be given other reading materials about other subjects, exams
will also be given to test their comprehension on this other subjects. Aside from the exam they are given about this four primary
subjects. They should be given more reading assignments & exams on those to sharpen their comprehension. But English, Math,
Science & Religion should be taught staunchly.

Para sa akin okay lang ang K-12, ang implememtation lang siguro ang ayusin, halimbawa yung instructional materials ay i-provide nang sapat, sapat na classrooms at ancillary facilities, laboratories. .and this entails money. Sa malaking budget ng DepEd, sa PS pa lang malaki na ang nababawas. Ilang porsyento na lang ang para sa iba pang gastusing dapat suportahan. Halimbawa sa SMAW, paano matuto ang mga estudyante kung ang ratio ng welding machine at estudyante ay 1:20? May chance pa man lang ba makahawak nito ang iba? Ang science lab ng junior at senior high school sa maraming paaralan sa mga probinsya ay konti hanggang sa walang natutugonan,
