Super helpful, one tip if you cant get the spring to push down is to push towards the back of the steering wheel from the inside of the hole, worked for me using a flathead

Hey, i installed the steering wheel perfectly fine, one issue im having is that the volume buttons and the "ok" button and arrows arent lighting up, but they are working perfectly fine
Hello Zenaxia! My suggestion would be to take the steering wheel back off and move the wires around a little bit. Some of those wires may be slightly pinched, not to cause them to stop working but just enough to prevent them from illuminating. If that doesn't work, you may need to get a set of those buttons from Ford (or maybe you can find them on eBay). I'm not sure you can change the bulbs in them, but I could be wrong.

Is just removing the negative terminal enough when disconnecting a airbag? Or do you remove negative and positive?
I had zero issue just removing the negative terminal. That's up to you.
Why doesn’t my bag go back in?
You may be pinching a wire. Look where the bag mounts to and see if there are any wires in the way.
