Cruel swipe is perfect! Since you pack with small raptors, you doing no damage to small Dino’s means that you can spam without fear of hurting your pack! I mean you can only attack every 7 seconds but you can be reckless with it.
Correction Iggy can not be pounced by Achilo it had its combat weight nerfed to 4000. Also my Achilo build is Bite Hunters Instinct Claw attack Survival of the Fittest Ripping kick pounce rudder and panicking sprint
I’ve pounced on Iggy as Achi, so it still can be pounced

Emm… Iggy is still 100% pouncable. It just has slick hide.
Re: strikes vs shred, remember that pouncing halves your damage output, so strikes will not be doing the 55, even less due to cw mitigation
Re: ripping kick - I've been using it as a mobility tool since achillo doesn't get tail fan like the other raptors. It doesn't cover the same distance but it's serviceable.
I noticed pounce took way longer in the end I didnt bother, wish I new cruel swipe was that effective day 1
I'd say it's a glass cannon, it's meant to hunt Apex's so of course its strong but it also has a relatively small health pool
Honestly player skill matters a lot to I have seen a lot of them on official try to hunt Rexs and they get destroyed
Yeah Ripping Kick isn't so great, I simply use it as a move-tech to avoid getting hit or to catch up to fleeing targets. Also it appears that every ability does less damage while pounced onto something, not just the Claw Attack. I'm not sure if it's intentionally designed to be that way or not.

The things Ive managed to with this in the last 2 days is insane its like OG Velo all over again big dinos running scared.
Only problem with that build is if your attacked by a metri or any other mid tier, your gonna get destroyed
I believe ripping kick can make you move faster than normal sprinting if you jump after using it but it’s just something I heard somewhere and it’s basically it’s only use if it has any

Whe fighting smth you can pounce use raptor strike and cruel swipe (seriously 8 cruel swipes kill a rex that in 56 seconds and at full stam without them bucking you can last almost that amount of time) using raptor strike when cruel swipe on cooldown
So with cruel swipe...u can kill a rex... in 8 hits... with a combat weight of 2600? Holy crap.
Yeah it's broken atm. For its size having only 200 less hp than a rex fully grown is the problem. Bring it health down to 500

Hello, good video, how do you spam those dinos that you do the tests with, is it possible in single player mode?
Right now, yeah it might be op.. but there gonna add more abilities to the other dinos too. And I think Meg might get the grab ability for smaller dino, cause there gonna implement small dinosaurs in the future, so would make sense, and idk why spino can't drown dinos but would make sense.. unless they can an I know nothin
With the shake changes it’s better to get your 5 stack then pounce

Does Latenivenatrix count as a Raptor in Path of Titans or do these abilities only work with Deinonychus and Achillobator?
The laten counts as a raptor. So you could have a mix pack of all three in a group.
Cruel swipe needs a bit of a nerf because it does way too much damage. Me and my buddy 1v1'd, me being a sucho and him being Achill and the amount of damage that cruel swipe did to me was insane. You can kill a sucho in about 4 to 5 body hits on your own by using nothing but that ability.
I use the kick for a quick dodge

I struggle with Achillobator . I find him too slow . As a group , 3 , we tried a lamb/iggy combo , we got the lamb close , but one tail hit takes like half health . The Iggy had the skin , so couldn’t grapple , and he’s faster then achillo so would successfully chase us. Had to weave so not to get hit .
I switched to Alio and did a lot better , at least was able to get away after landing strikes .
All this to say , Iggy really does well against lower tier Dino’s lol

Yeah but you have to get 12 of them onto the spino and it's not like he will let this happen without putting up a fight. As far as my personal exleriences Achillo is one of the best balanced dinos currently in the game. Not to strong and not to weak with a well thought skill set

god its gonna suck when the slick hide/feathers have the pounce immunity removed. i hope they dont nerf it into the ground 😒like at least make the slick hide/feathers take a lot more stam from pouncing enemies for trying to hold on

I feel like if their going to remove the slick feathers skin, I think that they need to increase stamina train to raptors when a player that's been pounced on is bucking them off. I like the pounce ability, but when they don't lose that much stamina while being bucked off, it makes it impossible to defend yourself. It also makes it to where a single raptor nearly kill an apex with one pounce.
Yeah that bird needs a nerf.

Achillos is balanced..EXCEPT for the cruel swipe. Damage should be reduced to 75-80. And ya know what, the dasp should get his piercing bite reduced to 75-90.
I say this because if I'm on a rex, i think its stupid that things half my size can single-handedly do more damage to me than an adult rex.
Also it doesnt nerf them completely. These attacks are powerful with long cooldowns, BUT its too easy for both to just eat a tail attack to do so much damage.
Stomp? Too fucking slow. Easily avoidable. Tail Attack? You think an achillo/dasp wont eat tail attacks to do that damage. Youd be wrong. Balanced Tail? This originally was my trump card when on rex because turning in place at such a quick speed would give live little to no opportunity to get behind you. Now that they nerfed all turning abilities you cant even do that.

Pounce, cruel swip kill a Rex with only 8 hit, Claw attack deal 90 dmg without charge and low CD, almost unlimited stamina good speed and have the same hp and cw than a Cerato.. And you said its not op ?
Too OP atm can 1v1 any "apex" and win almost 100% of the time. Once you' ve pounced use up your stamina run away rest up then go again. Rexes and trikes are just walking buffets 😂

It's so wonky too I can't stand it's jump animation it's like a cartoon it's like nothing else in the game too it just don't fit in lmao plus it got the same health pool as a DASPLETO 😂 no fkin way! They always bring new dinos out n make em op to get ppl playing n buying the game meanwhile they nerfed every other dinos abilities just recently and they buffed anodonto 😂 like have they not paid attention to anything. Also they just NOW gave allo a sense and it's STILL missing an ability ☠️👊 one of the first dinos in the game gets zero love I hate to quit playing but I mean I only play pot cuz isles not on console 🤷♂️ they can do whatever they want cuz there's no competition in the genre for console

Sounds a bit like a skill issue. In my experience, a lot of ppl don’t know how to play raptor correctly, they’re relatively easy kills when u can focus on one or two. Now say about 4+ turkeys w lil chickens…yeaaaa call it a wrap 😭
