Great video. Very detailed! I have the exact same car (year, color, trim) and for some reason have never done this in 8 years, even though I have done it on both of my 2009 9-3’s. I was hoping to find a video on CZcams, and was pleasantly surprised when yours appeared at the top of the list. Thanks for this - after a first try a while ago I had put this job off - for 18 years!! Then after watching this got my old filter out no problem - to discover I had thrown the filter I bought a few years ago! Oh well another on order - going filterless for a day or two until the new one arrives. It's a 2nd car so no sweat. Rear brake caliper swap next.! Cheers 👍👍🤟

I have a 2007 9-3 and changed mine last year and I can say I could feel a stronger air flow with the new filter.
