They sell the same clothing at other stores for $3 or more! I love to send extra doll clothing but it is usually so expensive. i also buy the cards, 2 decks to a pack for my older boy boxes.
I have done a lot of my shopping at DT this year, it's next to my daughter's karate class, so convenient. I like to include a fun pen in most boxes. This year, they have had a bunch of cute "makeup" bags that will work as pencil bags and sometimes some great hair accessories.

That’s very cool. Tip for the puzzle tins. I just found out I could fit extras inside. It’s worth it to remove the tape and add small things. 😊

Love In a Shoebox it’s a really nice place to live. My husband is in the military and we have been stationed in Alaska for 3 years now, it’s a great place to explore nature with my soon to be 6 year old :) I hope you are able to find them! But you sure were able to find some awesome items 💛
I agree the Barbie dolls are very poor quality. Loved your comparisons, very creative with clear insight! Flip Flops~ I agree with you with those also. The dollar tree flip flops absolutely do not last even though they do have some nice looking styles. Old Navy also has great end of the year prices on flip flops that are high quality. Never tried the recorders. I have bought stuffed animals from the dollar tree. In my opinion, some are okay, but yes, the ones from Walmart or new ones from even thrift stores that you can find, are much better. Those particular plastic cars you showed are a big no for me. Crayons- My favorite are CraZart and Crayola are MUCH cheaper during back to school sales, and the quality is much much better for sure, although I love their color books! I will include one of their matchbox cars with two hot wheel cars.

They don't have character themed stickers (e.g. Disney Princesses or Mickey Mouse), but they do have Christian themed ones, and you can use the coupons on them. I regularly get them with a 20% off coupon, and I always get them when there's a rare 25% off regular price order coupon. I love to add stickers!!

Mostly, I get all my items from Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Kohl’s, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby after holiday sales or clearance items and back to school supplies plus when they go on clearance. Great video, by the way! Have never seen the fans or fairy dolls at any of the DT stores I have been to, so will keep a look out for them! I have found a few Barbie brand accessories though!

One thing that I was wondering about were the hair brushes. They look ok, but how long do they really hold up if this is your only hair brush that you use everyday? As far as water bottles I have been very happy with the Zach brand of simple water bottles found at Walmart and Dollar General! They are regularly priced at or below $1.00. I wonder if the wall stickers would fit in the box if you just used it to line the inside walls of the box. They seem to bend easily. I would like to see a few people with exactly the same items and same size boxes pack their box. Then we could see that things will fit even if packed in different ways. We can all learn more and improve.
This was a couple of years ago. Yes they will fit the way you are saying. They would possibly crease though. They are much longer than the box so you would need to bend them over the top 😊

The lid is awful on the dollar tree. I think the cardboard box from OCC is better. I buy the official plastic box from OCC. It is easier to pack and ship anyway.

They are small a 5” long candle with soft solid flame, very decorative, reminds me of the song, This Little Light of Mine!

Get a bigger stuffed animal for $5 it will fill in as much space as 5 - $1 dollar tree toys and will have some longevity to it for the child.
