- Today's video is different from my usual content. I recently felt that I needed to share my testimony, so I did. I hope you enjoy and maybe find my story helpful on your own journey in packing shoeboxes.
Thank you for sharing your story. I have been packing OCC Shoeboxes for at least 23 years. I have been a Church Relations & Community Relations volunteer in the past. And started being a year round Prayer Relations volunteer last year, and this year I'm also a Community Relations Team member. 🥰

Thank you for sharing your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes story. My situation mirrors yours, except I have not gone to the lengths yet, to have a packing party, etc. I started packing OCC shoeboxes in 2012. About 5 years ago I became the prayer coordinator at my church for OCC. Also I am the person who is in contact with the OCC, Canada, office. I order and distribute the boxes and drop them off at the collection center, etc., etc. I think about OCC shoeboxes night and day, all year long. I shop for these boxes all year long. Now I have to pray and work on expanding my OCC ministry, just like you did. Thank you and God bless.

Thank you. I've packed shoeboxes for years. Last year our town lost it's drop off church. I just got done today asking our pastor if we could persue what we would need to do to become the drop off church in our town. He said YES! Love your story, so much inspiration for me to jump in with all I can. Our Wednesday night club just packed 15 boxes last week. I just love it and feel like you. ❤

Hi Emily! I watched this video the first day or two it came out and it touched me so much. I have packed shoeboxes with my children and Mom for 7 or 8 years and very similar to your story the number kept growing. However, I could never bring myself to do announcements at church.... until this year. I am still terrible at the announcements, but the church is joining in and we have fun things planned...a women's night to put together sewing kits and a packing party with the kids at Wednesday night. Thank you for sharing your story and how God made you strong. I absolutely loved when you were making videos at your kitchen counter and talking about dollar general pennies! May the Lord bless in all that you are doing currently!!!

Thank you Emily for all that you said in your video. It diffently brought me to tears. I started packing shoe boxes about 4 years ago only doing 2-3 and I felt lead to do more. Started watching all you wonderful ladies videos and hauls about sales and prayed God if you want me to pack more I need to fine some deals. Well I went from my goal of 20 boxes to just finishing number 50 last night with a lot of extra stuff to donate as filler. I to feel a call to do more, but just don’t know what that looks like. I will be praying about it.

Hi, I’m working with my church to start an OCC program. Do you have any information on your budget and how much you spend on each box. Any organization and packing party ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also thank you for the Bible verses. You might want to add them in your comments. They were really great.
