Basically hasn't changed at all. FF7 is a very tribal deck with very insular mechanics, and as such, the deck doesn't upgrade well. It looks very dated alongside newer decks from the last 9 months. If you made me play an FF7 deck right now, I'd say Cloud Pod ft. LB Zack probably has the highest ceiling!

I know it's a long shot, but FFXII is my favorite so I gotta take my chance to ask. Thank you for your videos it's my only real source of content where I can see games and learn.
The new Tifa is a joke herself. OTK from what, empty opponent board? You need only two average characters to get rid of her and her OTK cost like 12 CP.
There's a really good Earth/Wind Fran deck that also doubles as a Warrior of Light deck - since you get Water CP from Filo, Fire CP from Vaan or Bwagi, and whatever you want off Tyro. It has its moments.
