DIRT ROADS ONLY (Cities Skylines) Country Roads Challenge Is It Possible?

- Today I present to you the Country Roads Challenge in Cities Skylines and ask if it is even possible to build a mega city using only dirt roads? Is it even possible to plan a city with only Dirt Roads? Who knows but today we will find out!
For this episode I took inspiration from the wonderful channel known as RTgame. He is well worth a watch and is a great laugh so go check him out here: / rtgame
His best work might well involve him flooding the map so yer get ready for that.

Spiff's videos sure have changed. This feels like he was still finding his groove, and a glimpse of what he would hands made if it got more traction at the time.

Sleeping policeman is indeed a slang term for speed bump. I always thought it was a nationwide phrase, I'm from Birmingham but I've heard it everywhere I've been, north and south.
The last 3 minutes of gameplay could’ve been what they sold for fallout 76 and everyone would’ve been happier

Well this was pretty great, up until the whole meteor part. That's amazing that you can just spawn meteors anywhere you want. Is that the whole goal of the game? To build a city just so you can blow it up? I'm sure it's the same for many Minecrafters. Pretty great vid!

My only issue with time lapses is when it becomes a seizure hazard. That and when artists use them to make it look like they did the work in a matter of minutes when it took them half a day.

I tried this exact idea back when this game first came out. Eventually, it's just too unwieldy. Services couldn't get to the buildings because of traffic, and the whole city just burned down in a wash of crime and plague.

I don't mind time lapses but when you make them so fast it's just a blurry mess that leaves you without an impression I don't really see a big point in them. Apart from that, I enjoyed the vid and the idea

As soon as you mentioned Country Roads (tm) I knew you were gonna mention RT Game. (Call Me Kevin is another great, and quite similar, also Irish, CZcamsr. They do know each other but sadly I don’t think they’ve done a video together, but lots of us keep hoping they will)

Dirt roads actually have one advantage - they much more tolerant to slope angles.
That's why sometimes I end up having them even in the middle of busy high-rise city center
Raised dirt roads is a technology we still haven't mastered.
