  • As if the search for the next Vikings head coach couldn't get any more strange. We now have people turning us down. I though we were the cool, young, fun, hip spot to go to...

I am all in with Harbaugh. Not interested in the rest. It was Harbaugh or Ryans for me. Don't want O'Connell... don't really want a coach that was just the right hand for McVay and his offense. At least Ryans has experience calling plays! I think I am good with first time play callers after Klint, who had an easier path with his father being one!

What ever happened with Doug Pederson. Was he ever interviewed or considered ?

The turn down was more because he didn’t want to waste time with the NFL’s sham HC interview process and he wanted to solidify his own market value with next season looking like a better season. Simple as that.

Agree. We need Meco to win a few more Ships with us, plus he needs more experience before becoming a head coach. Head coach is very different and a lot more responsibility than coordinator. Not saying Meco can't do it eventually, but he's just getting started as a coordinator.
He did a GREAT job as a first year coordinator.
P.S We may win multiple rings with Trey, Kyle and a mostly dominant defense.

Oh he's staying put but yet we don't have enough black head coaches in the NFL... vikings should sue him for racism lol
