- I'm glad you guys liked my previous gem strategy for F2P / light spenders and I wanted to go more in depth on the 2 star gems in specific since that is your starting goal.

I know as a necromancer the primary damage of summons goes up with your dmg... do we know if the crit rate is the same as well?
Yes, your crit rate effects the summons crit rate too and is why the shepherd set is so good at the 4pc bonus. I'm not sure if attack speed on your character applies to the summons, but that's the main one i want to figure out one day
@@kras5785 i tested attack speed, it does, but the attackspeed from quickness globe does not.
@@jonathanbenoza8136 interesting! That makes attack speed great on Necro then, likely S tier. If it didn't apply to summons I'd still rate it A tier as a stat though since Necro uses primary attack a lot and it helps with animations
Is cuttgrin is best for barb?
Since you can't use followers burden or bloody reach, cutthroats grin is definitely at least in the top 6 gems. Harder to get behind enemies for sure as melee, but you can use a dash skill to damage the boss and jump behind them as well

For PVP as F2P, you mainly are just worried about resonance since gem effects get reduced. Crit is super good though so it's pretty good to use as a placeholder at rank 5 until replacing it in a couple months for a x/5 from lucky drop or saving platinum.
For wizard, it'd prioritize bloody reach, fervant fang, then #3 is cutthroats grin

in other video you mentioned that wiz is the best class for pvp for f2p player. I have a KD ratio about 8-5 every game in legend level, do you think DH do better than this in terms of KD since I play against a lot of whale every match
@@adrianyan6098 of course! Somehow I blanked on abiding curse, I'd actually say that's the top PVP 2 star gem, but 4th-6th for PVE
@@adrianyan6098 I think DH is really good at getting a high KD, but wiz gives you a better chance to win since if you're in a hard match wiz still has freeze / black hole to CC the enemies for your team and DH can't do much if you're in a losing position unless you're using a CC build. If you focus on CC with DH, I think you're better off on wiz or necro though

Definitely true, you'll have to slot in some of the less good options. Overall though, the magic find and resonance is typically better than the effect itself and even the less good gems have their uses
Chained Death is much better than Feverent Fang minus the magic find.
I agree that a lot of 1 star gems have better effects than 2 stars, but I tend to feel that no matter your gems in PVE the content is easy (minus challenge rifts far above your CR). For PVP, all effects get reduced anyway and you'll get more resonance out of all 2 stars at a much lower total gem power as well. Eventually a PVP player would want to replace their 2 stars with 3/5+ gems once they farm the required platinum.
@@kras5785 Ok good to know. I didn't knew resonance had such big impact on PvP and that the gem effects was nerfed that way. I learned something new. Great video btw and continue the good work :)
@@h02ctn oh yeah man no problem! A lot of info is either hard to find in game or just not in the game at all 😂 generally all gem effects and even magic attributes on your legendaries are reduced by 66%, which is huge. Resonance isn't reduced at all though so it's the best way to get PVP stats. I wanna get all the info out to you guys that I can!
