Besides blessed pebble, heart stone actually works for bone armor and even the thorn version of it. At least it did a few weeks ago when I started, I no longer run thorns and I never noticed melee skeles cleave but I'm honestly going to try your build for some challenge rifts

Yeah some of the 1* gems have really good PVE effects but I've been on the resonance grind so they had to go haha I've been considering boosting up some 1* for PvE testing though to see how big a difference they make! I wouldn't have thought of heartstone working with quills so that's very interesting!
I stopped using quills when I realised that no matter how many minions are around a mob only 1 quills will proc from each Highest DPS I ran on necro was, archer skeletons, Molten golem and empower mages with guided by maggots pants, 4* shepherd, 2*shalbass ,(minions incr damage from primary attack boosts too) so that gives +30% minion damage Or if u want to play close range use the swirling bone armor chest + bone armour pants and change to 2* vithus, 2* shepherd, 2* shalbass that is even more DPS than just frenzy summons, again +30% minions damage and +30% bone armor duration = perma swirling bone spikes
Yeah I haven't used quills for a while for that same reason, but even with that it's still amazing AOE damage especially with a lot of beneficial effect duration. Yep I mentioned all that in my vid about set combinations and using flickering warmth with bone armor duration for easy content! 🙂 I don't like it for raids / dungeons since it doesn't quite do enough damage for those activities. I've played around with archers a couple times but they are definitely best suited for single target only. The cleave aoe on normal skeletons is very noticeable when you no longer have it. For a high resonance group you can definitely get faster kills with a build like that, I've found those type of builds to be lackluster in PUG groups though
No gem needed! You'll need the legendary essence "Flickering Warmth" in the chest slot. You've likely had it extracted by now, but otherwise you'll need to wait until it drops
It's hard to beat tri-summon due to new essence mastery. Molten, archers, and reapers, 2pc shal/4pc shep for most of pve content, and Rock, archers, and reapers for burn fights lasting under 40 seconds with 6pc shep and a sader running 4pc vithus.
Molten is super good for sure and I've only recently stopped using it! Main thing I didn't like is the downtime when you aren't using Visitant's Sign or freedom & devotion. Same thing with an archers/molten/reaper build you'll have downtime on both golem and reaper, which matters when you're doing PUG dungeons since half the time it feels like you're the only one doing anything haha. Definitely more min/maxed builds you could use if you have a good and consistent team, I feel like I get a sader on my team once every 2 weeks and most don't understand how to time their abilities anyway
@@xCydezx I appreciate the call out, I was not aware! I do think there's something to the double buff / double summon build over tri summon though. Especially if the essence mastery is ever expanded further I could see it tipping more towards double buff, where now I'd say both are about even and each have their positives and negatives

Cuz using the armory all the time gets annoying (even though it's better now after the recent update) I do want to say Freedom & Devotion helps immensely for PVE purposes, since you can use skeleton archers without getting a lot of downtime on your mages/golem. Helm - skeleton archers Chest - doesn't matter Shoulders - increased damage per skeletal mage you control Pants - guided by maggots Main hand - poison golem Offhand - bone mages Sets either 4pc shepherd 2 PC shalbass or 2pc Shep/shalbass/vithu mix is good too if you have low armor penetration

Just as a side note I don’t see the point in having an extra 3s on dark curse vs an extra mage? Makes no sense, a second reaper is far more beneficial in terms of Dps? In terms of overall damage and killing potential leaving golem is a mistake.
Yeah I'm not too sure if it's the most optimal, in the past I've always used 2 reapers but technically in long drawn out battles I think the curse duration would equal more total dps, with double reaper being best for burst dps. Most content is quick enough that double reaper is likely best still, but I thought it was interesting to point out a 100% curse duration with essence mastery Golem I'm not sold on anymore though. This cosmetic was from the last battle pass! So unfortunately that means it's unavailable now if you wanted to get the same cosmetic. I'm expecting necromancer to have really good cosmetics in the future though so definitely hold out for a good one!

For yr quick farming setup, how do u get the blue flame from the 3 spikes bone armour? mine is just grey bones only...it is from 5star gem.Txs
