@@kras5785 I have a question if you don’t mind. I saw a build video right before yours from a guy named Zylee who supposedly has world first clear on rift 240 (i think?) and he was using a different version of this firestorm build, with scorch and the orb things that shoot outwards. What do you think of that? I already have almost all the legendaries for that (but no set bonuses since i just got to lvl 60). Is it more f2p friendly or more “whale” oriented?
@@subversusss I haven't seen that video but it sounds like you're talking about the Memory of Xiaoyu helmet for scorch. For the firestorm build, I find it synergizes poorly since all of your other abilities are long range and that one is short, but the fireball scorch is long range to match the rest of my build.
That version of scorch is useful for over world farming, but other than that it's only use is in PVP for whales.
If you do end up using other short/medium range abilities, it's definitely good, but otherwise I found myself having to intentionally walk closer to enemies to get the damage off
Im really thinking about class changing to wizard (necro currently) do you think i should? I really want to try wizard? What do you think?
vaetia's resourceful countenance is low dmg, but it moves really fast, and hooks up on first enemy hit and continually stuns for 0.5s. gives somewhat good cc, but dmg is kinda low to consider using it. feels like pvp skill.
Thank you for letting me know! I assumed that might be the case with it being more of a PVP skill. I was really hoping it'd pass through enemies and land where you cast it, sounds like I'm not missing much on that essence. Fire just works so well with Grace set too that it's hard to use non fire skills

TBH never played Wiz, main DH and dabbled with Necro, DH getting a little stale for me atm so might give this a shot or try Necro again :)
Truthfully I think Wizard is the most fun for me! Necromancer is more powerful for sure, but I find the PVP stale with Necro. If you're looking for fun, I vote Wiz!
Overworld farming and PVP are super fun for me on Wizard. I'm gonna retry DH again soon but I didn't care for it as much as Wiz. I think i'll like it more now that I can actually get the set pieces I need through crafting.

dont really think 4 pc grace is necessary...since u got teleport anyway you should at least use 2 pc G (teleport set), and then something like feasting barons. those are my fave sets for this meteor build with firestorm or the frozen meteor build
I haven't liked gloom much for wizard pvp, it might be my playstyle though. I typically use my teleport charges on escaping or just basic mobility, rather than using throughout the fight for the damage and crit bonus. Barons can be good too, but I do really like the damage bonus since it works so well with all our skills ticking for multiple instances of damage.
For something like a battle mage build though, gloom seems ideal for sure
@@kras5785 the thing i like about getting better drops is trying different sets out at times and seeing the difference. i hated gloom at first too. but i got some great gear and ended up with gloom 4 pc and grace 2 pc and it worked amazing. between gloom, then grace, and feast baron you get SO MUCH added dmg with all the 2pc's put together...or even shal baas i think it is that has a lot of extra magic missle dmg if u use it. really all those sets we have stated would work great. with the gloom i usually just tele right up when i get to a group or a boss and then u get 3 secs of mad extra dmg...it works well!
@@OGHawkeye you're totally right! Definitely all viable, even same build but maybe just playstyle differences could determine the best. Even Windloft is a set that I think 6pc has great potential, but never wanted to farm it before. With crafting, I might try it out soon if I don't have anything else I need to craft. Crafting set items has made the game sooo much better and more fun, I love the variety
U need trickshoot gem one star lvl 10 if u use chanaling skill big boost and f2p easy got this

Haha yeah it's definitely not for everyone, especially anyone wanting to focus on PVP. I'll never understand people wanting to pay to win, but the PVE is still enjoyable for me and the PC + mobile options for playing make it easier for me to play than other games right now
