    Many of us are speculating about the, "Mike DelGaudio" phenomenon.
    The voice that can make every microphone sound amazing.
    Either way, I love your content.
    It's a pleasant encounter to see your desire in offering demonstrations, of some budget friendly equipment.
    Would love to see a short video on, "some things to expect from a V.O. Coaching session."
    Appreciate all you do. Be well.

    What I really like about these mini shotguns is just how stupidly versatile they are. It's a camera mic first and foremost, but then if you get a mini tripod mount, it suddenly becomes a desktop mic fit for streaming. I've even seen some setups where they set it up as a boom mic. Personally I think that if one is just starting out with recording, streaming or really anything to do with voice, even if the only recording device they own is their PC's Realtek input jack or their smartphone, it's a mic that most people should start with. They could potentially stick with it for a long time even as they go through first proper recording interface upgrade.

    Mike, thank you for doing videos again. I was having withdrawals. I definitely use your channel for microphone and other gear selections. Plus I just love watching you do your thing. Keep it up

    Nice review. I'd seriously consider that for my home setup that's mostly zoom calls and elearning. BTW I always called those small dead cat wind socks, dead kittens😼

    Movo just sent this over to me! I am excited to review it. Great job as usual!

    It's a great mic for the price. Nice and crisp. I love the team at Movo. They're doing great work for content creators on a budget to get into quality gear.

    I purchased the Movo VXR10. Sounds great. It also helps to have a set of pipes sent from above, like you do.

    I think part of the reason they ended up with the Rycote shock mount is because a lot of people had problems with the originals shock mount breaking. While they were great at sending out replacements, I imagine it probably made sense to just go with Rycote from now on.

    Wow, really impressive little thing. I'm glad you showcased this mic, it might be right for a ton of content creators with a tight budget. Also, I find that it sounded way better when it was plugged into your camera, it had less noise going woosh in the background. Even though it works with the Atem Mini, it kind of had this constant hum, maybe it's a noise from the room. Just my observations, two cents let's say. Great video Mike =)

    • @SinsualModelingAgency
      @SinsualModelingAgency Před 3 lety

      What I hear is Mike breathing into the microphone- sounds like a hum, but is just his breath. If you listen to the quiet portions there does not seem to be a hum. I have this mic and it is fantastic. I’m listening to this through my Sony 1000XM4 headphones.

    @jcstrabo Před 3 lety +1

    I'm absolutely surprised how well it works on the Atem, especially considering the distance it has from your mouth. For 50 dollars that's pretty amazing.

      @@rigocornejo6003 Ok, it sounds bad to your golden ears and good to the rest of the world apparently. Must be hard to live in that world though, everything sounding bad and not satisfying. I rather take a life where "good for the price" exists.

    Hey Mike! You should check out the RTX Voice. It's an AI controlled noise gate and I think it would make a great video. It works very well for streaming, but I was wondering if it would work well for voice over.

  • @alexandrevaliquette1941

    If anybody is thinking "this guy will be bias caus he get this mic for free!!!"
    Well well....
    First, Mike doesn't need another mic in his housse, because he already sound amazing. Yep, even if he only speak into a jack with no mike plug in!
    Second, Mike, for obscure reason, own microphone and audio setup that worth the equivalent of some third world country!
    Love from Montréal

  • @dimralli4558

    I think the diagram isn't very accurate. Given the amount of noise the mic picked up when its back was to the wind, it's much more of a hypercardioïd. Anyway, cool review, I didn't know of that brand.

      Interested in how you are using your voiceover work. If you can get one, the Rode Podmic is fantastic and a bargain at $99 US. If you are on a super tight budget, the Newer NW-800 is amazing for it’s price. If you can’t get the. Rode, the MXL BCD-1 at about $150 is also a good beginner microphone.

      Boya BY-MM1+ seems to be identical to Movo VRX10 PRO based on their manuals; www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/618693.pdf and www.boya-mic.com/Upload/1588150517.pdf. And it seems to be the case for Boya BY-MM1 and Movo VRX10 as well.
