Welcome to another episode of The Eight Nine Garage. Let's build a hitch mount for the Harbor Freight tire changer. Will we be able to get it to do a 10 inch wide wheel? Tune in and find out! This is a welcome addition to the tool arsenal for the channel. Best part about this mod, is it was very low cost. The metal that was used was all scrap, the centering cone was 3D printed, and everything else was dirt cheap. Tell me what you think below in the comments!!

Vevor stuff is so hit or miss when it comes to quality.

Awesome fabrication job, must feel good to be able to do tires at home as needed. The welding table looks super useful as well. I bought a similar one but it ended up as a "horizontal space" before I got to use it for welding. 😅
LOL, I know the feeling. I always need more space to put things. A friend of mine messaged me on IG and asked me if I can balance too. I need to get a better method of balancing for car tires. Bead balancing is fine for a truck.... but a little noisy for a Fox Body.

@@89G Yeah I love cobra rs , they are one of my favorite style rims. Not yet dyno day is next weekend and ive been pushing to get it ready for it
@@89G I might need the 5 lug swap for pickle. I picked up a spare t5 yesterday and going to get his last one in a week . So ill have a couple back up t5s if I break one or if u needed one id hook ya up
@@79beans347 I need synchro keys for a T5, then I'll have a spare too. When my Buddy built the one in Frankie for me (during Covid), he couldn't find any new keys, so I found some that were supposed to be "lightly used"... and they are allowing 2nd gear to pop out under light/no acceleration.
