Robert my friend. Thanks for the shout-out and it's great to see you out enjoying the ride on your Goldwing. We will see how you get your camera more secure for your next video. The wind is putting a lot of pressure on it. Tonight I worked on my bike until 11:00pm. Today should be the start of my 2024 season and I hope to share what has changed for this season. Lots to talk about on my first ride. As far as employment goes, I am a Cummins Diesel Technician. Yes Sir, it's heavy truck diagnostic and repair. Guess you could say, I am the guy walking around with the laptop. We will be watching for your eclipse photos and I know they will be great. Enjoy my friend. Ride Safe.

I’ve been a boat mechanic for 30 years ranging from 15 feet to 120 feet. I’m semi retired still working 3 days a week. Can’t live on social security alone and still have a goldwing. My riding season was delayed due to a howling blizzard on Thursday. A foot of heavy wet snow. They call it poor mans furtilzer. I’ve had enough furtilizer. I’m in the path of the total eclipse and the weather is supposed to be perfect. Probably the last one I’ll see. Love your videos.

Hey Robert, another enjoyable video. I’m a retired 30 year beer and wine salesman. (Not as much fun as you’d might think.) I just got back from an all day round trip to my brother’s house in Indianapolis with my daughter to see the eclipse. The event was spectacular as was the time spent with my daughter. The traffic wasn’t bad heading down from Michigan but coming back was a bit busy.
I also love the green bagger. I wanted to see one in person but had to ride out of state to find one. Well had to, wanted to, I guess it’s all semantics. Any excuse to go for a 200+ mile ride.
I couldn’t agree more about Cruisemans videos. So professionally done and leaves nothing to the imagination. I have some mechanical skills but even if I didn’t his videos inspire confidence and take the fear out of tackling things like the overly complex air filter replacement.

Thanks for the shoutout. Once I get to Dallas, me and Gary will be joining in on some of your riding adventures Idk what group meets there but I’ve heard lots of things about that dealer. Again, thanks for posting this.I like the angle at which you film because I don’t get dizzy! Asking about occupations, I wish I could record but due to “HIPAA’’ violations, I can’t. I am a traveling surgical tech. To fix your GoPro slanting down, I have that same little spinner thing, and what I did to get it to stop flopping over was to 1, either tighten the crap out of it, or 2, take some low grit sand paper and give it some texture. What I did was simply tighten the living $#!+ out of it and then go from there. Like I said, thanks again for posting videos like this. It gives me the opportunity to “ride” while my bike is down in Texas.

I noticed the temperature at in the 70s there in Texas. It's still in the 40s up here in Connecticut. I need to move south. Just moved back to Goldwings from Indians and Cruisermans knowledge base and the community in general bought me back. Oh and Retired C.F.O here so I crunched numbers too.

@@robertwhitemoto Yes, I have a 2016 KTM1290 SuperAdventure and I bought a 23 GW DCT bagger last Spring. I sold my 2014 Indian Chief to help fund the GW and will likely sell the KTM also. As the Honda dealer said, "You won't ride the others after getting on the GW." They were correct. Very happy to have a chance to ride the Wing.

Hi Robert, similar very strong gusts of wind buffeted me all this weekend as well, though across the lane (on our narrower roads in the Salisbury countryside, UK) and toward oncoming traffic. A right butt clencher! I look forward to your videos and I'm past retirement age, but still enjoy a a couple of days a week on the front line of IT, just to keep those grey cells active. My Goldwing bagger version has that front brake of course, but I rarely use it. The only possible use case I can think of is if I were to be parked on an incline. So mine never needs adjustment. @@robertwhitemoto the Wing can handle most of our winds. But when they get over 40 mph, then I just won’t ride. The last couple of years the winds haven’t been bad. So far this year, rather brutal

I was looking today, and I have to do another oil change... and just did one a couple of months ago. I'm glad I can ride as much as I get to... even though I want to ride more. I was an automotive tech for 25+years and have been out on my own doing that and Handyman work for the last 10 years or so. Ride safe. God bless.

No other reason but that I like the looks of it now… plus every now and then I get stuck on advertising for free… but we do it in so many ways…. This audio setup with the purple panda on the GoPro sounds the best so far, I think. The AcePro has a slight advantage on video quality, especially in low light conditions, but I prefer better audio personally.

First GW was a new 1978. Do you get tired of removing/reinstalling all the equipment off the GW when you stop each time. (Camera, phone, etc)
Hello Garry, thank you for watching and commenting. Both my GoPro and my Camera have a quick release system that makes that pretty easy. The editing of video's is what take the time and effort :) Do you currently own a GW ? If so, what year model ?
Yes I still have a 2013 that I triked with the CSC kit in 2018 for my 70th bday. Time goes fast so enjoy the ride.
Hi Robert, I've been enjoying your videos, those of Cruiseman and RyderOne while I waited for the weather to warm up. My new 2024 GoldWing was waiting for me at the dealership -- it arrived earlier this year. Anyway, I finally picked it up yesterday, Saturday April 6. Today is Sunday and I've put a little over 250Km since then. I'm in Ontario, Canada and it's only just warmed up.
