Busy day of kite-flying - part one: morning

- My 2,097th kite video. Feeling a little more energetic than usual, I flew twice on this lovely autumn day, and made a video each time. This first one was in very light wind, but things changed a little in the afternoon, as you can see next time.

Wind is so light today. And today music also very light and soft.
I try to fit the music to the kites if I can find something suitable. This time it worked out well.

Very true, Dewey, and especially as we move into winter, where there are often near-windless days, between the days when the wind's too wild to fly at all!

Even on low wind days you can pull something out to soar! Nice to: A) Have low wind kites. B) Find the light wind kites when you want them!
True, Steve, and sometimes (B) is harder, as I don't have the tidiest kite storage in the world for sure.

It's very sad that Gomberg Kites closed down. They left a great gap in the market that no-one else has filled.

I wonder if there are kites that are so sensitive to wind that they can literally be walked while inside a calm open space and stay aloft by the passive wind alone
Some four-line kites are so easily controlled in no wind that competitions are held for them in indoor stadiums and suchlike. Just search for indoor kites and I'm sure you'll find some. Kites like the Manta here can certainly be kept aloft by walking with them in no wind, but when you stop, so do they.

Do you know where would be best to buy kites from? Trying to get into the hobby.
I find it hard to advise on that, as I don't know where you live. Here in New Zealand we have no kite stores, so all of my purchases have been made online. I buy from AliExpress but also from sources in the USA and Germany. In the USA most of my kites have come from www.pictureprettykites.com, a very good source.
