The Venture X has made things so much more complicated. It's like an end game card but you have better approval odds with less open cards on file. It's so weird.

@@Cause023 Yes, build a solid foundation with chase cards while you’re still under 5/24, then you can move to citi, c1 etc

@@moheel7022 about how long does it take to get the chase trifecta? I’m going to go insane if I have to wait 2+ years to move onto capital one lol.
Bc that’s a lot of travel rewards and airport lounge time wasted for me 😅

@@Cause023 I applied every 3 months. You could spread it out more or less, but I've seen data points of people getting denied early on for too many applications. Start off with chase fu or flex and then get CSP last. If you're planning on getting any chase business/hotel/airline cards, space out applications every 6 months to stay within 5/24 range.

This is a super interesting list! I’ve been planning a similar video for my channel, but you made me take some things into consideration that I didn’t before.. it’s cool to see how the credit card game continues to change over the years! Great work on this one.

This five card setup is great even if you are only occasionally traveling. If you do not travel and want to avoid the annual fees, then change card 4 and 5 to the Citi Custom Cash and Double Cash cards. That will round out a solid no AF cashback setup.

I heard you can upgrade the flex to the preferred, which means I'll stay under the 5/24 bc i already have a chase card, but I'm just upgrading it.

The IT was fine for years. All of a sudden, they suspended my card to do a so-called identity review. I think it's a financial review. I was late one time by a day. After reading that some have signed the forms so they can check your tax forms and still had thier card closed. It's my second oldest card and I wanted to keep it. But, at this point they can close it because I am a little pissed.

Hard to get ones like them? Credit Cards they use in Korea, a tier list like you do for the USA? So many K-pop artists making the USA Billboard charts BTS, Blackpink, Loona, Itzy, Twice, (G)I-DLE, NewJeans etc. I was just wondering.
