The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. How can one profit from the present market" with effective entry and exit strategy, I mean I've heard of people making upto 350K within few months and I want to know their techniques.
well as you know bigger risk, bigger results, but such impeccable high-value trades are often carried out by pros.
True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diverssify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of $550k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

Starting out with a with a professional that knows the ropes of the choppy but profitable market is the best way to achieve getting a well structured portfolio. That’s why I have been working with Deborah Jean Dykstra‘ and that doesn’t make me daft because in financial dealings one have to be prudent. Most traders enter exit with a quick 10% profit which is not bad in a general opinion but why not aim higher, it doesn’t necessarily mean to be greedy.
Success is dependent on the action or steps you take to achieve it. Show me a man who doesn't have an investment and I will tell you how soon he'll go broke. Investment is building a safe haven for the future: with the right choices of investment that has minimum risk and with an Expert guidance, profit and interest should be guaranteed.

Just try to diversify your portfolio to other market sectors, that way your investment is balanced and you don’t get to make so much losses.

@@user-dp7cu1ny5h no he can't. This is a math issue. That's like saying you're going to make a career out of going to the casino. The odds are against you. You might win a few times but math will catch up. All the "wealthy" get rich quick guys make their money selling $500 courses.
I appreciate your approach to teaching.. To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough, we just need to hold onto our hopes and wait to see how things turn out because market movements are almost always unpredictable. You're right it's not watching all videos and wasting time on strategies, I was ignorant doing so till I Met expert Mrs. Shanita Creswell sometime early last year at a startup funding event in New York City. @@NLARA01 you simply reverse what you did. Head to the option chain and look for the strike prices you made the purchase from. If I bought a $20 & $21 strike price then I sell it instead. If I’m selling two of the $20.5 then I buy back two instead. Re purchase everything just switch it around.

I opened a strategy like this. The option ran up 10x in price yet I was never able to close it and now it's down 20% and still can't close it. I haven't been able to find how to do this yet
@@andrebunting7603ou’re only allowed to “close” calls that you’ve bought. You cannot close calls that you’ve sold. Those must go to the expiration date you chose. So if you chose a distant expiration date, you have to wait that full amount of time to pass before your chances of losing money are over. In contrast the calls you buy you can sell/close those at any time before the expiration date.

How do I trade options in the uk? I’ve tried downloading some apps but they’re pretty useless. I also find you need a US bank account to transfer funds in to them aswell. Any recommendations would be great! Just a shame robinhood isn’t available in the uk

Excellent explanation Henry! To clarify for options strategy 1: after we set the ratio we buy the option as a debit? And then do we wait until it expires and collect?
There is no strategy that you can follow that is going to let you 50 X, your money. Until you learn discipline, trade management, and risk management, you're just going to be donating $100 at a time to the market.

Thank you, Henry. It's worth pointing out that the only way to realize the profit is when you get assigned the underlying shares. You'll then need to sell quickly in order to capture profits otherwise if the underlying stock dips then you stand to lose even more money. Am I missing something?
I think the part you're missing here is that your option has a monetary value from the moment you buy it. You can buy and sell the option before its expiry date. If you have the option to buy a stock in 1months time for £10, but the stock price is already at £20, your option already has value as its very likely to expire above its strike price unless it majorly falls in value. Its actually very rare in option trading that you take up the option to buy the shares, but simply buy and sell the option itself.
Yeah, but what this other guy doesn't realize is that you will get assigned shares BEFORE expirey when you trade spreads.. Also, any strategy should be tested before scaling up.

Disheveled: I don't use Webull, but on the brokers I trade actively on, namely TD Ameritrade and Ally, you can trade spreads and combos with multiple legs like he's showing on Robinhood.
As an experienced option trader, I just wanted to say be very careful re trying to do such trades with separate orders for each leg. The problem is that if the underlying stock moves on you, you might not get anywhere near the net price you want. And it would be a coin flip whether you're better or worse off.
If you place one order with multiple legs (like a spread), you can make it a limit order and either get the price you want for the trade, or it doesn't get executed, so that's much safer.
@@rogergeyer9851 Thanks, I'll figure out the Webull at some point. Right now I'm good making cash on my covered calls using shares I already own. One of these days I'll go outside this comfort zone and do a little more after I take a class or two from someone I trust.
