Hey guys I read the comments and I see many of you want me to teach strategies and have my older style of video. I will go ahead and listen to you. I do value your feedback and I apologize if this video had a clickbait title. I geta report from youtube you guys like this style so I'm simply following that however your comments say you want informational videos so I'll take your word. Will do my best to get to the point and deliver on what I say I'm going to do.
Ignore the hate. Honestly learning credit spreads and covered calls from you was life changing for me personally. If you do wanna change things up though I do recommend sticking with low risk high probability strats that require low capital (under 1k). That's gonna be your primary audience. Show how it can easily grow to be self sustainable. I.e. put credit spread is $68 profit for $300 with a 78% probability, understanding the market and knowing when to flip this can easily turn into more as you grow. To fill up space or keep attention I recommend adding market news. How it may effect these positions, how to work with it, etc.
I think market news will definitely help you grow but don't forget it's goal is to show people how to trade alongside macro economics and stuff.
Key word fellas COMPOUNDING INT. I started out with 5k just buying Apple stock and fund it in 2009 through 2 Iraq deployments. I was able to start out daytrading with a 100k account thanks to Apple. Apple was my long term. Lucky for me i successfully made money first 3 years and learned a lot. That compounding int starts off slow but after that 7th year, your jaw will drop when u see your account. First step is open a brokerage and learn how to just buy stock. Don’t even try to learn options for speculation. Learn tomorrow trade around it like henry said to protect it. CC and once u get good do protective puts. Know the difference between scalping and daytrading. If you daytrade or try to “swing trade” options with a weekly option, you will blow up your accounts. Longer date options are always better and if u find 3-5 months out 50 cents more than a weekly option call with Same strike, the no brainer is take the longer date and pay that extra .50. Know that DELTA is not your option price per $1 move of a stock. It’s delta PLUS GAMMA that equals your option price. U only really need to know 3 Greeks and I told u the two. Theta which burns your burn contract. Vega will depend on your option stategy
Actually the returns of spy & QQQ are the same over long term, the draw downs are greater in QQQ than SPY, so unless trading, stick to SPY Long term accounts … check graphs & you will see, they just showed business channel recently

Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies

Assuming you sell monthly puts at 0.3 delta and close at 50% profit, you would need about 2.7 million in collateral to make 10K/month. What a joke

If you are just starting out and/or have a small account, using margin is a VERY dangerous game. Just as chasing premiums is a dangerous game. You have to be extremely disciplined if you decide to use margin. Seen way too many blow up their account using margin and/or chasing juicy premiums. Henry, think it would be good to do a video on the importance of protecting your capital when starting out. You can have 10 wins in a row and on the 11th you take a loss and wipe out all your gains or worse go negative.
Do not use margin and risky investment.Because you might lose all your money
Always remember when investing, protect your capital. If you lose your money, you gotta start from 0. It doesn't matter how great a company Look, every company going through some bad time. I lost my money in meta 2022 Using margin, this stock dropped All the way down two seventy seven dollars
I used to follow him but after the basics of options trading I don't find any value in his videos anymore. This one for example it's a 13min video and at min 8 he still hasn't gotten to the point. There's not actually a blueprint here, not even a single checklist or samples. For that I'd choose the wheel strategy on SPY and sell calls using leaps

Why not just buy a covered call ETF like JEPI / JEPQ in this case, which yield around 9 percent per year with no work?
Why buy spy and pay the expense… easier to just buy the top 10-15 holdings. Is the expense ratio worth the dividend?

13 minutes to say... Sell 30 delta covered calls and puts. no details on trade management or time horizon of options i.e optimal dte to use .... My opinion is go check tasty trade where they dont spend 95% of the video stroking themselves, if you really want to learn how to sell options.

Robinhood won't let you sell puts with margin balance.
For good reason, I might add. What you can do, is sell vertical puts. Do this if you do not want to get assigned, sell them on down days, go with a delta of 10 to 15 (to be safe), AND manage the trade... meaning set your loss limit before you execute the trade. And close it out before it expires. For example, if I am down, $500 I am closing the trade out. Practice this before you size up on the number of contracts you open. Remember this, no matter how confident you are in a trade, it can go against you. Even at a 10 delta, I have had trades go against me.

Sell a put credit spread
@@MikeAffholder That's the beauty of a vertical put (put credit spread), it doesn't require that much capital. You can run a credit spread right now on NVDA and it requires less than $500 capital. NVDA 7/19 strike sell a put at $120 Strike and buy a put the $115 strike. Collect $32. Has a delta of 11 and this gives you a 7% return in one week on your required capital. And that is with just a contract size of one. Open up 10 and that's $320. You just have to manage the trade and set your loss limit if the trade goes against you. If you believe in the trade, hold it. Just be sure if it is in the $ on Friday and the trade went against you, close it out before market closes. I open these trades daily and if the stock jumps up and I quickly make 50% on the trade, I will close it out or scale down. Take my winnings and run.
