How come I don’t have the option to make a custom order on my RH?

This is a good video, but you left out one of the most important things when doing options, that is, how to close the position before expiration. So, when you do a video, please include such information because it's easy to get in, but we can get in trouble if you don't know how to get out of the position.

You would've taken a full loss on NVDA Iron Condor because NVDA ended up above $130 on June 14. Its better to have put credit spreads on NVDA considering its bullish trend.

I think you have to be on a margin account that is way more risky than a cash account.
Would this work for level two options trading? Please advise as Robinhood is denying my upgrade.
Why you didn't mention, that you need to upgrade to level 3, get approved by RH first and must run margin acc.(losing those 5.25% APY on daily bal.) and actually own that stock (min 100shares).Otherwise you won't be able to apply this strategy !?! Besides that, your videos are very informative !
You can have a margin account and not enable the margin. And you don't lose the 5% APY if you have Robinhood Gold. And it's easy to get approved for level 3, just tweak your info. Also you do not need the 100 shares, that's the whole point of buying multiple options..Did you even watch the video?
So are we assuming you start with 1000s of shares of these stocks or is he selling these based on just the option value

just wanted to stay thanks for the longer vids i really enjoy them.. i also set aside 1k a month for risky strategies like some of the ones your showing that way if i lose its no big deal. i was plaining on not keeping it anyways, but if i win then i take the wining and don't do any risky moves with the new earnings i just got. i still just continue to use just 1k only, so far its working really good.
On the first strategy with PLTR for the $24 covered call how can you buy that call if you do not have the physical 100 shares of PLTR in your portfolio to put up for collateral???
He had equal amount of calls that he bought vs what he sold. The calls he bought were essentially the collateral for those two calls he sold. That’s the beauty of that strat!
It wasn't a covered call first of all, and like the guy above me said, you also buy a call with a lower price than your premium you receive from selling the first call. If it goes your way, you keep the premium and get your collateral back at the expiration date
How comes for the NVDA credit iron condor example in the video, the maximum profit is $39? Shouldn't the max profit be the total premium you collected, which is $18? Where does the number $39 come from? I am very confused here... Thanks anyone if you can answer this question...
Because you are selling a call and selling a put, collecting the premium on both, but also buying a call and buying a put so you do not need the 100 shares. Mess around with it on Robinhood and it's pretty easy to figure out

Every video I see about small accounts option trading fails to mention that all but the most basic single-option strategies aren't even available until the account has been grown to a couple thousand USD. Am i missing something?

So if an option expires “out of the money”. You will loose the money you spent on the contract(s). Correct?

Why is it not letting me click more than one on my robinhood?
so I put the exact same expiration dates and strike prices into Interactive Brokers account and guess what... my max loss is 65$ but max profit is 35$... which is the exact opposite of what is shown in the video.. I checked the input four times... let me recap, expiration date 05Jul (18 days)...and this is the trade: Sell 2x Call at 24$ (2x+0.5$) ; Buy 1x Call at 23$ strike (1.25$) and Buy 1x Call at 25$ (0.4$).... and the spread is 0.25$... so, that means that I have to pay +65$ to enter this trade... Henry gets 16$ credit... wha?? how?? totally different outcome.... I am not following
henry why doesn’t it let me do spreads on robinhood? i think it’s because im only a level 2 option trader, do i need to be a level 3 option trader to do spreads and stuff like that?

Yes, you need to upgrade to level 3 and actually get approved by RH ! Also you need to have margin acc. not cash acc. and you will lose that 5.25% APY on your daily balance ! Also you need to own that amount of stock you are applying this strategy to ( at least 100 shares) ! He doesn't mention these things in the video.
@MB031 the only thing true about what you said is getting approved for level 3. Which is done simply by adjusting your info. You do not need the 100 shares for spreads. That's the whole point. And you can switch from cash to margin and not even enable margin. And no you don't lose the precious 5% APY, which is only $50 for having $1,000 sitting in your brokerage for a whole year. It's only a benefit for huge accounts and not really because anyone with that money and half a brain can sell covered calls wayyyy out of the money on the SPY 3 times a week and rake in at least that much after just 1 week, or just buy dividend stocks. Watch the video again and actually pay attention.
@@THOMPSON8787 After 4 consecutive trades you will get flagged for pattern trading and if you execute another one you will lose 5.25% APY sweep program.To sell covered calls you need to own at least 100 shares. Trading spreads is possible only on level 3 which you must get approved.Clear as day 😀
U can be level one as long as you set up the legs of the option spread one at a time not by using RH pre built options spread hope I was able to clarify it for you any good luck be careful

You can either listen or run. I've averaged 20% monthly for the past 3 months using Henry's strategies. The dollar amount is relative to portfolio position sizes.

Poorly executed video, you never say why you chose which options, which strike prices, etc. Without knowing why you are doing something, you can’t adapt
He actually does explain. He shows that PLTR has stayed between support and resistance for a month. Try to pay attention to the complete video and not just what you want to hear
